What an absolutely wonderful way to end the year, thank you Frontier!

Between the recent influx of birds, the gift shops, the remastering of the tapir, and countless other improvements, you've proven to be one of the most attentive, caring, and community driven development teams out there!

Thank you for reinvigorating my love of zoo games, conversation, and wildlife. Hoping all the best to those who have been affected by these challenging times and I can't wait to see what's next!

I haven't been playing the game in a while as I've been super busy with study-related stuff, but this update has me even more excited to start playing again than I already was!

Although the DLC is an Animal pack, we have a lot of new scenery pieces and foliage to look forward to in the free update and I'm already seeing many uses for all the small souvenir shop items. Zoo decorations will be so much more versatile now, especially with the addition of the new wallpapers. Besides that, there are some wonderful new animals including the takin which I very much anticipated, and the swan which is our first waterfowl.

Whereas the first packs this year made me think we're reaching the end of game support due to the smaller free updates and the lack of animals with new mechanisms, the incredible modular gift shops of this update and the new birds from the past two DLCs make me feel like there may be much more in store (no pun intended).

Things have really turned around this second half of the year. We got 2 more swines, 3 birds all of which were highly requested and more than we’ve ever had in a year, we got the devil and Wolverine both of which were at the top of the meta, a new awesome building set, gift shops, as well as a few updates to current animals like the long awaited tapir revamp.

These last two packs have been nothing but perfect and I’m shocked to see frontier still delivering on every front. Let’s hope this chain goes a bit longer into 2024!

I was slightly hopeful we'd be seeing a fixed clouded leopard alongside the tapir. So happy to see Frontier actually did it. I hope these fixes will mean the SEA pack will actually start to get the appreciation it's always deserved.

Anyway, happy launch day! While a good chunk of this pack simply isn't for me, I'm already obsessed with the swans, sloth bears, and takins, and every species looks amazing. Regardless of personal taste, though, this pack and update seem like a wonderful way to wrap up 2023. Here's hoping the train doesn't stop just yet!

This dlc and update is peefection in so, so many ways. The shop, the tapir, the swan, the flexicolour quality of life update which is going to make building SO much easier.

But the saiga is what really has me spinning. As much as I joked and begged, I never in a million years though that these obscure, barely in captivity, hard-to-rig snufflenoses would make it into the game. THANK YOU FRONTIER!

I'm going to go stare at digital antelope for 16 hours straight.

also, this pack is fantastic along with this massive W of a free update, thank all of the PZ team for such a fantastic update to the game, your amazing.
also the known issue, is quite sweet. the Scimitar-horned Oryx is also doing much better according to the update on the 11th this month.
Im pleasantly surpriced by the Saiga being the outfit, id have anticipated it being the swan, but seeing my silly antelope get the love here makes me smile.
Once again to the artists working on this game, you did an incredible job all these animals look 100/100.
the giftshop function is amazing aswell, i love it, i wonder if theres more modulair guest facilities coming? itd certainly be nice.


heres hoping that we get to enjoy more new additions to the roster and lovely updates in 2024, have a nice holiday frontier team!

What a fantastic way to end the year.
By far the best update and DLC we've had in 2023. This is a real great day. The official Malayan tapir brings a lot of potential for future animal revamps (namely the 2 brown bears, the lion, and the wolf, plus a bison resize).

But, y'all, this is for sure, for real for real, my very last post. I know we've made it a joke every other time, but this time I'm being serious. My life changed overnight, and I don't have much time for a lot of things now.

I had a wonderful 3 years here, learned a lot about animals and about how zoos operate. Y'all have really opened my eyes to the animal kingdom: new species I've never heard of, animals that can or can't be kept in captivity, all that jazz.

We've had our ups and downs. We've laughed together, probably cried together. Keep up the positivity, don't let others bring you down. Ain't nothing gonna break y'all's stride.

Well, I guess this is it. I'm heading out. See y'all later, alligators. DarthQuell, the one and only DarthQuell, has left the building...

P.s. I'll still do the occasional update on my channel, though. But I'm not very regular

I am waiting for the sale on steam to start at any moment... It's usually around this time in the winter. Then I'll buy some other packs together with Eurasia.

This reminds me.

I added peccaries to mix habitat with capybaras the other day and i noticed they are really small compared to the capybaras. Is that like that irl? I can't find pica of the two together irl.

ter looking up the measurements, yeah, the capys can be up to a foot taller.
