🐾Planet Zoo: Tropical Pack arriving 4 April🐾

Since its a tropical pack, I really wish to see a Travelers Palm Tree, its something unique, nothing is similar to it, but I really doubt it, till now I didn’t see any pics of it in the pack.
Please Frontier add this palm tree, if not in this pack in any future pack.

It took me some time but I finally realized that theme packs with building sets are actually more exciting for me.

I was always in love with animal packs but just because of the number of new animals and I still appreciate them.

But man! Those buildings sets are out of this world perfect and give me thrills of excitement!

So crazy in love with this new Indonesian theme

It’s like we get totally the new expanded game with each and every theme pack filled not only with animals and buildings but also tons of improvements.

I remember saying we have the island thatch already covered with the palm thatch roofs but how wrong I was. So glad we got this as a theme

It has to be! That sure doesn't look like any dirt paint we have, or even the existing autumn leaves.

Well all of those animal speak México, the skunks, raccoon, the spectacled caiman and the Baird are common animal where a live and everyone consider them local/Mexican animals

( I live in Yucatan, too much far away from the north of Mexico )

Actually, @SalamAnders, I didn't understand your post at 1st about perspective. But yes, I agree. It depends on where you're from. I'm more used to central and northern Mexico, so I think of more desert animals than tropical and coastal
(On another note, I can't believe I neglected to mention green iguanas as Mexican animals)

What feels mexican? Well thats a very open ended question, what animal feels american ? Every answer will contain a very different set of animals what one may believe represents the region better

You know, this just opened my eyes, actually, about how diverse continents are.

Like, I'd consider a moose Canadian, but they are also associated with Sweden. I consider dholes as Indian but they are also found in SEA.

So, it just reminds me that perspective doesn't really matter in the long run

Definitely have mixed feelings too. On one hand, the animal choices are mostly great for me-- I love the red river hog, fossa, and gibbon, and I'm especially stoked we're actually getting a sloth! But on the other hand, the tropics definitely should have been saved for an animal pack. As cool as the building pieces look, I would have preferred a temperate or taiga pack for this spring, and then an animal pack for the tropics during summer. The lack of birds like the scarlet ibis is such a shame.

At least I get my beloved career scenario <3

And I guess my current cope is that since we're obviously not getting birds in the WEs now (but why), maybe we'll get an actual proper sloth in the coming months.

I don't get how the existence of the sloth means we wont get birds in the WEs. And I don't get how this sloth isn't an "actual proper sloth" just because it's rarer in zoos. It's the most iconic sloth in the world.

Yeah i was so sad that the leaflitter in the Twilight pack only came in uber orange. Even if those new ones arent flexicolor, having leaf that are a more mundane and bearable tone is huge for me

I'm not sure about the leafs, i don't think they will be flexicolor because we only have seen one "color" and not another colors
Also definitely isn't the twilight orange leaf because they never show dlc things in an announcement dlc preview

Actually they showed up in two different colors. Dark green and brown. So either we get both or they are flexi color.

Today I expect that we will see the Asian Water Monitor. I am pretty convinced that it will look great, too. Frontier always made good looking Reptilians.

Exciting, we are getting close to release, but still need to survive the weekend and on Monday maybe content creators can show us everything like last time.

and I hope Emu will finally be walkabout animal and Clouded Leopards will not jump in slow motion. It is about time, please!

Just looked up some Pictures. They Look really both, weird and also a bit cute. And its eyes make them also a bit spooky in my opinion . Would be a nice surprise addition but I do not think they have very high chances.

I am almost 90% sure that the sloth situation is gonna be another Penguin, Caiman, Otter...situation. Now that we have system for sloth, and more "community unpopular" pick first in a pack, it'll be easiest thing to get Two Toed in another DLC down the line

I hope this is true but I fear time is against us as there will inevitably be an end to official support and, with it, new DLC. Nobody knows how many more packs are on the way but with only one exhibit animal in each one, I'm not sure they'd give us another sloth over something more unique.

Of course, I hope I'm wrong and we get both as my preference will always be a two-toed.
