That's so blunt and truthful it hurts...
I don't know, somewhat I enjoy the dev diaries, but sometimes they also feel like everyone hat to draw a ticket of what their favourite animal of the pack has to be and they just form an answer around it. I am way more looking forward to the full update notes tomorrow, as most of the time there's some small things hiddden in there that just make me very happy.
Hey Guys, I know....I'm so fu**** laaaaaate on this party.
I'm back from my weekendtrip and yeah... I got sick. Luckily no covid
but coughing and sniffling a lot. I feel like I'm catching up on everything I've avoided in the last 3 years.
The good news, i'll be at home for a few days now and won't go to the office. So I have time to look at the new pack in peace, so tomorrow then.
That was quite a surprise to me that it didn't become an Animal Pack. I'm wondering why Frontier changed the rotation. Actually, I thought it was pretty good the way it was.
I'm not super excited about the new animals. I think I like the Red Fox best. Love the colormorphs, can't wait to see all of them and how the piebald works. The pic with the nyala was a little meh, like she had some white paint splatters on her back, it looks kinda weird.
Also what the new Exhibit Box is all about. As I understand it, will it be implemented in the base game? - This means that Basegame Exhibit animals should also have access to it? I don't think everyone will want to buy the pack for the Bat and the larger box would have no use at all, would it? (has this been discussed before?) I find that really interesting and something I didn't expect at all.
But Frontier.... why no birds again? - There are certainly one or two ground birds that are active at dusk.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, especially the trailer (I looooove the trailers!) and the patch notes, as Swjos pointed out, those little hidden details, I can't wait to discover them.

. I do not think that it implicates that Base Game animals habe access to it. Sich features mostly are part of the update even if it cannot be used by people not buying the DLC. The same ist the case for the brachiation frame I think. For me it implicates that more animals for this feature are planned for future DLCs.
Sorry, Fini, that you got sick. It can be so annoying. I got Covid while going the whole 2-3 years without it.

No, the only animal that can use the new exhibits will be the bats. The players without the pack can build with the exhibit, but not make it function.
The community assumes that, since the base game gets the exhibit, Frontier might use it later on for other packs and other animals. Speculation ranges from another bat at anniversary to a bird pack somewhere down the line.

Also I'm really hope frontier today in the dev journal we will more about the new exhibit and little bit more describe how it would work and maybe also video that would show it, cause Let's be honest that's is really kind of game changing so yea can't wait to hear about it more!

Holy cow. I usually wait to discover the new pieces by myself in the game and then I watch the content creators videos later on. But I'm so curious right now, it's going to be very hard to resist watching...
