Planet Zoo: Twilight Pack arriving 18 Oct 🦇

After watching Rudi's video on the new pack, I'm definitely feeling the hype. Animal-wise it is still my least favourite selection so far, but in a lot of other ways this pack is truly amazing.

Firstly, I am positively surprised at how versatile the new habitat is. Sure there's looped animations, but I'm already very pleased that we can change the box and even get a null barrier. This makes me also hopeful we will get that option for standard exhibits. In general, there's a lot of space to add foliage and rocks so even if we were to get birds in this way I wouldn't be too mad with the exception that 20m is too wide for most aviaries..

The decorative wall pieces look much more realistic and less cartoony than I thought and I am definitely gonna use them to create a cool-looking Indonesian-inspired forest (it looks very much like the lava stone walls in i.e. Borobudur).

Foliage-wise, the new pack is also great and we finally have fungi, which means that we may also get more mushrooms as well as kelps or even corals in the future (which bodes well for the Foliage Wishlist).
I'm no the same boat. The building pieces look a lot more usefull that what i first thought. I love the bat exhibit and all the customizable options (i just hope there is more improvement to be make to this system before deciding this is the way birds will be done).

I disagree about the foliage though... i mean yes they are great pieces but not enough of them. I was a bit dissapointed about the lack of cuantity for foliage.

I´ve bought the new dlc :D

While not anywhere near comparable to koalas, two-toed sloths are still much more capable on the ground than three-toed. They are also faster when climbing and have quicker reflexes.

This is why it is difficult to picture how three-toed sloths can be pulled off as habitat animals with the current mechanics; while two-toed sloths can barely be doable, although they still need to be coded to spend 99% of their time in trees and climbing frames.

Edit: Added one more video.

Edit 2: Added another video, one showing the slow reflexes of the three-toed sloth even when being attacked.
