Planet Zoo - Update 1.1.2

Beside those, im wondering if we will ever see the tour guide added that was shown in the trailer.
And please a Map Editor so we can design our own entrances.

You can, though. At least insandbox. Just delete the entrance of the game and make sure to include a people spawner and that ticket-thingie into your new entrance and there you go. :)

I would also like more sandbox options. On top of my list would be the option to not have the research of animals done yet. I like having all building items right from the start but would love to decide on which animal my zoo specializes and if I would like to take advantage of the added breeding success. Breeding is waaay to easy for me in this game. All my animals breed and I'd wish I could do a happy dance when my elephant is finally pregnant and not just shrug. ^^

EDIT: Oh and turning off protestors in zoos would also be a huge thing. I don't have them often, but when my elephants decide to take a too long bath under the waterfall enrichment, they come. It's annoying as hell.

I don't know what the desire for all food containers to be always full is all about. The food goes bad, it stinks up the habitat and makes animals sick if it sticks around beyond their need to feed for too long.

Same here, + people are already complaining about the costs, imagine paying for unused food.

I don't mind it being an option for sandbox.
Or something you'll have to set manually for a habitat, for the people who have trouble in their zoo with feeding.

But the base setting should stay as it is.... Works great.

I would love a Option like this. There could be something like the Option how often Staff should visit but like this:
Normal feeding
+1 Food Portion
+2 Food Portions
+3 Food Portions

The best Solution would be to change it per Species. Just like the Quality of the Food

Chante, are they also working on the issue in sandbox, where you disable the animal wellfare, but still get notifications about animals starving/protesters?

It'd be possible, but then you'd still have to worry about costs from sick/dying animals and the vets not getting there fast enough. In sandbox it would be a good idea, but also turn off the food expiring. But then you wouldn't even need keepers, just turn off animal needs completely and be done with it.

None of it is an actual solution to wants in a system that isn't broken, just poorly understood.

I don't know if it was fixed but there was a Problem with the Elephant-Enclosure in my old Zoo. Multiple other Species also lived in there and the Zookeeper didn't give every Species enough Food. Sometimes the Elephants got more Food, another Time the Zebras or Wildebeest got more Food and the other Animals didn't had enough. There were often starving Animals in the Enclosure. The same Problem occurred in my old Gorilla-, Bonobo-, Mandrill-Enclosure. So I think this Option could be useful. Especially if this Problem isn't solved already.
Edit: but I only had the dehydrated Animal Bug in my old Zoo. So maybe I don't have this Problem anymore 🤔

Did they change something on that, though? None of my animals where starving before, but after the last update, food gets stinky.

We are talking about sandbox mode options you can turn on or off to your liking, offcourse with filling all food stations and an always full would also be handy to have a never spoil option.

I noticed an issue with multiple species habitats. If they required different food, it'd take longer to get to them and then there'd be a hunger issue. It'd be compounded by the fact that there also needed to be cleaning. I solved that by limiting the amount of animals in those habitats and having single keeper work zones for that hab, with 3 keepers, 2 on food and one on cleaning and whatnot. I think that's something that should be worked on. If a keeper is going to prepare food, it needs to take account all animals in a habitat and it'd reduce that particular issue.

I've had the game downloaded since Nov 5th and I've always seen instances of rotted food. At first I didn't realize what it was back then.

The discussion had branched to both. So I was including thoughts on both.

edited for spelling, not enough coffee yet.

Seriously! now I just lost another zoo to the infinite loading screen!!! And it was the zoo where I had all my flamingos for this weeks challenge! I'm getting really fed up with this! :( :(

Are you sure your computer is up to the task?
And I mean not by requirements, but maybe there is something wrong (broken) with your RAM or other hardware which isn't a problem for other games, but is for Planet Zoo?

What are the specs of your PC?

If it isn't the first time you encounter this exact same problem, maybe there is more happening then just the game failing?

EDIT: there is a release soon that should fix this issue, so maybe it is the game. 👍

Well if it's a problem with the PC, then why does the zoo's work fine for weeks and then just stop working? + it doesn't affect all my zoo's, just two of my franchise zoo's, the others work fine exept for lag + of course this is a known issue that are affectic many players.
Not sure how I can check what specs I have, but I know that all of them are above the recommended + I got this PC as a gaming PC and it's not even 6months old

Open search bar in Windows, type "system", press enter.

And yeah. it's a issue indeed that affects more players, so it might be the game.

Not really an expert on PC's, it's my brother who built it, so not sure exactly witch things you want to know, but here are some of them
32GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
