Planet Zoo: Wetlands Animal Pack arriving 12 April

I really like how the new Spectacled Caiman looks and it’s very different in coloration from the crocodilians we already have so I will definitely use it in my zoo’s. Especially because it’s more grayish in coloration from what we already have.
Anyway, personally I would definitely choose something different for it’s slot because I simply think that we don’t need another crocodilian and definitely not another caiman.
If we stick to the idea of a simple reskin I would go with Père David’s deer which it’s real a shame that it’s still not in the game. Not only because of it’s extinct in the wild status and super interesting behaviors. But also unique looks and antlers like no other.
I also think that game would benefit much more from this species than another caiman. Especially from the conservation and educational level but also simply because we have only 3 deers the game and already 4 crocodilians including one Caiman from the same Environment as the new one.
If the idea was to have a reskin from South America I would go with Lowland tapir which is the most common species in zoo’s, distinct in shape and appearance from other tapirs we already have and would be a great choice to redeem from Malayan tapir fiasco and maybe even fix the Malayan tapir and finally add diving to tapirs. But those decisions were already made more than half year ago and our opinions can’t do nothing about it.
So we can be happy with another caiman or whine about it. I choose to be happy with it

I think it'll probably be the platypus since we just got two new ones in a row.
Place your bets everyone! I think it will go like: Newt -> Platypus -> Lechwe
Anyway, just one more week! Gosh, feels like forever.
Newt —> Lechwe —> Platypus is my guess
Even though they would still need to leave the Burrow to eat and drink, unless they figure out how to properly implement nursing, it would still be nice. Size also shouldn't be that big of a Problem due to the Inclusion of Poison Dart Frogs
I just can't wait to see how baby platypus looks in the game!

Puggles are a lot smaller - about the size of a jellybean and physically can’t move all that far. IMO they’ll do the same as with pretty much all other animals and include them as juveniles rather than newborns - in any case, dart frogs are exhibit animals which can be much smaller than habitat animals

oh u are kidding me yea? hahaha so I think we should just wait until we get the picture of the platypus maybe it will include the baby because I no longer know what to believe lol
Doran’s image above is real - still not old enough to go outside the burrow though.

If we would be able to get only 4 more birds the Shoebill definitely should be among them
It’s so high on the meta wishlist and still not in the game
I hope for a ground dwelling birds animal pack one day
Of course I would like to see some flying birds but that kind of solution would definitely fulfill my needs
