I thought they included Dik-Dik specifically because they made those animations for Saiga and Tapir. Now I'm scared that the Dik-dik won't have its iconic nose animations
But nothings certain

"As well as the South American Coati, which didn't make it past the concept art due to general lack of interest."And finally on Tuesday:
"Today our senior art director shares concept art of the Geoffroy's Spider Monkey, which was originally planned for the Zookeeper's Animal Pack in the early stages. Coming never."
It will have, I am pretty convincedNow I'm scared that the Dik-dik won't have its iconic nose animations
Tree kangaroo... What if we got the tree kangaroo but it's just a wallaby clone that has the basic climbing animations to it. I don't know if one of the most anticipated animals would be worth getting in a pack like this.Tree Kangaroo
Well at least we would have had a more popular animal, don't get me wrong I would hate that with a burning passion, but at least is such a popular request it's a tiny bit more understandable, but why half-ass such a obscure yet iconic pick like the Sifaka, well I know why, BUT WHY!!!Tree kangaroo... Probably a week in advance, the actual videos go out tomorrowWhen do the CCs get the early access?
Well we still could have seen a White-Faced Whistling Duck, Pudu, SA Tapir, Squirrel Monkey, Greater Rhea, etc that don't require complex rigs. With that said I do agree I would hate for the coati to be a Racoon clone or for the Howler Monkey to only get one new vocalization animation and then be a Capuchin cloneHonestly seeing how most of the animals in the this pack seem to be made in a rush i'm kind of glad that none of them is one of my beloved South American animals lol i rather get the modded versions. Modders will probably put more love into those animals than Frontier at this point haha
On the bright side the best one of this pack quality wise is from South America.Honestly seeing how most of the animals in the this pack seem to be made in a rush i'm kind of glad that none of them is one of my beloved South American animals lol i rather get the modded versions. Well, tomorrow we will see how bad they (si)faka'd up.
All animals I have seen so far before the Sifaka looked like they are very good quality. I will judge the Sifaka only after I have seen it in motion. No difference to earlier Packs in my opinion. One animal had always a "controversial" Look.Honestly seeing how most of the animals in the this pack seem to be made in a rush i'm kind of glad that none of them is one of my beloved South American animals lol i rather get the modded versions. All of them, except the bear, look wrong or half fineshed or like someone mentioned, like they belong to early packs rather than the latest ones. The fur on the male baboon looks nothing like the beautiful mantle they have in real life over their shoulders, the male markhor face looks weird (eyes too big, too cartoony) and when you compare it to the mod that was made long ago you can see the clear difference in quality (with the mod looking better), the cat is just a cartoon, face looks nothing like a true Palla's cat and now the sifaka... which yeah i'll refrain to commenting more on it until seeing it ingame. All animals I have seen so far before the Sifaka looked like they are very good quality. Yeah i feel that. It's sad to say, and I won't point out the few people still working on this game more to Frontier in general. But this DLC, and the Sifaka is a great example, is the ultimate middle finger, and the event I was needed to put behind my adventure on this game. I lost interest with Frontier, their strategy, and their products. I am sad but at some point I feel like grieving and simply moving on this ride.
Hopefully Sid Meiers won't disappoint me this winter... cause I need some video games x)
