I mean it would be amazing if they also climb like a real sifaka but did we really expect this? Apparently Frontier couldn't or didn't want to change the way the gibbons climb completely. The gibbons got their special animations but they didn't overhaul the complete climbing animations for these. You know the the ingame gibbons use chimpanzee climbing animations when they are climbing trees right? It will be the same with the Sifaka, they will jump on ground and use the lemur climbing animation when climbing trees, logs. But if you want to dramatize it and say they will not jump at all be my guest.
They just watched night at the museum for research and believed capuchins are the only new world monkeys that exist. They never planned for a NWM.. Has people gone down insanity
I might pop down to frontier HQ and give them an awesome powerpoint on all the cool birds, monkeys and south american animals that exist and for a fiver I will even talk about reptilesThey just watched night at the museum for research and believed capuchins are the only new world monkeys that exist.
Because it was hald baked material they had lying around in some folder for scraped content of the tropical pack. This whole pack is made out of pieces from last year's packs. A shame that the tree kangaroo didn't make this second cut either.Honestly, the problem with the Sifaka is that it was simply way too ambitious of an animal to do, and Frontier probably didn't have the resources to do it justice.
And this begs the question: why the Sifaka in the first place?
They just watched night at the museum for research and believed capuchins are the only new world monkeys that exist.
This has to be the weirdest post they ever put out...The Facebook post doesn’t even include the word “Sifaka” at all.
what is wrong with wanting one of the most common groups of animals in zoos to be represented by more than 1 member, meanwhile we have 9/7 big cats and 9/8 bearsAt this point you guys are overly dreaming NWM to the point they will make the Sequel be around NWM.
Nah we are asking for just one more nwm, how hard is it to make one monkey. At this point you guys are overly dreaming NWM to the point they will make the Sequel be around NWM.

It’s very funny to see people care so deeply about subspecies for panthers and brown bears while also wondering why Asian black bears weren’t represented with their whole species.Meanwhile the Himalayan Brown Bear looks VERY similar to the grizzly, and it really shouldn't. Even just the colour should be very different, but they're pretty much both equally brown. Both live in colder mountainous environments, and while they are from different continents we already had an Asian bear from colder environments... Which also happens to look very distinct compared to the grizzly. (I still don't understand why it's the FORMOSAN Black Bear specifically but oh well.)
PREACH QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!! BIRD GANG RISE UP RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH“Accessories” or not, that doesn’t change the fact that they’re still ridiculously common. I’ve heard the same things said about antelope many times in real life as “boring accessories”, yet nobody is arguing that they’re unimportant and we get loads of them. I don’t know what zoos your going to that have fourteen cats and only five birds that aren’t penguins or paleognathes, but I’d really love to hear them!
My local zoo back home has an entire bird house, and an entire section dedicated to waterfowl alone. I’ve been to plenty of other zoos where this is the case as well, and even where they aren’t, birds serve as important supporting exhibits. I’m spoiled for choice on ungulates and carnivorans, yet I’ve been stuck building the same peafowl aviaries since launch. Zoos aren’t just one big hitter after another.
I apologize if I’m sounding rude. If you don’t like birds and have no desire for them, it’s okay to admit that, but I’m getting really sick of people just making up junk to justify stuff like this.
WOW, what a painful way of reminding me that Frontier is actively avoiding more common animals because they don’t like birds or something. For comparison, here are some holdings of some common “accessories” suggested for the game compared to our lastthreefour cats:
Caracal (165 holdings)
African Leopard (12 holdings…)
Pallas Cat (68 holdings)
Edit, forgot the sand cat existed and jumped back to the caracal, but 50 holdings
And some recent non-domestic ungulates:
Markhor (66 holdings)
Kirk’s Dik Dik (88 holdings)
Takin (80 holdings)
Dama Gazelle (37 holdings)
Somali Wild Ass (53 holdings)
Oh and let’s not forget the saiga that was way more important than any bird with its amazing one holding…
Mandarin Duck (a whopping 618 holdings!)
Helmeted Guineafowl (250 for the non-subspecies specific status alone)
Scarlet Ibis (357 holdings)
Common Mallard (361 holdings)
Black Swan (549 holdings!)
White faced whistling duck (254 holdings)
Eastern grey crowned crane (232 holdings)
Wood Duck (454 holdings)
Himalayan Monal (166 holdings)
Golden Pheasant (Another insane 695 holdings!!)
Victoria crowned pigeon (170 holdings)
Nēnē (154 holdings)
Burrowing Owl (170 holdings)
I could keep going for a long time, but I think you should be able to get the point. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I’m not saying any of those mammals were bad additions, but it goes to show that the game has an issue in priorities.
Seeing how it took 4 years for us to get one id say its very hardNah we are asking for just one more nwm, how hard is it to make one monkey.
It's climbing a branch, I'm sorry but I didn't notice anyone mentioning vertical jumping on branches and climbing prior today. If they did, I would tell them to lower their expectations. In essence i agree, but the one picture is already showing wrong animations, so i can definitely understand people who were really looking forward to this animal being bummed.
