Some people's boring is when you can't recreate ID4's canyon chase, or some of Star Wars Solo's mountain skimming...

Indeed and I suppose everybody has a different view of what they think is important to them in the "landscape" department. For my part, I haven't seen much of what Odyssey has given us but what I HAVE seen is impressive, in some cases surprisingly contemplative landscapes that I know I'm going to enjoy getting to know more of.

There's EVEN the possibility of favourite planets/moons to visit now the next iteration of the Planet Tech is here...what a concept, favorite planets!

I explained that in my first post! Irregular shaped bodies in Horizon get less irregular as they get smaller than 500klm radius until you get to the smallest bodies of 137klm radius being perfectly spherical.

Oh sorry now I understand - yeah, I have seen very few of the bodies approaching the minimums, those I've found were pretty irregular shaped.

The more new-tech planets I see, and I've seen a lot by now, the more I like it.

I do tend to agree with this, but my primary enjoyment of planets is flyving rather than flying. There is great new terrain in Odyssey. Hopefully they'll be able to bring back deeper canyons as the tech develops (and sort out that horrible tiling effect), but I'd rather they fix the lighting and performance first.
