Planetary view in Orrery system view

Personally, i'm a huge fan of the (fairly) new Orrery view in the system map. It really puts into perspective the scale of the solar system you are visiting and how it is composed. One problem i noticed whilst exploring with it is that if you select a body which has planetary data, there is no option to view the planetary map and you have to go back to the default system view and view the planetary map that way. It would be so much easier to be able to view the planetary data there and then, and to be honest i don't see why this functionality wasn't included in the first place.

To expand on this even more, i think it would be absolutely amazing to be able to seamlessly go into the planetary view from the system map in Orrery mode. In Google Maps, when you zoom in on a road that has street view, it will seamlessly take you into street view, without having to place the little street view widget on the road you are looking at. It also works in the opposite direction. When you zoom out far enough in street view, it will pull you out of street view back onto the 2D map. I think adding similar functionality to the planetary map and system map would be amazing. In the Orrery mode, when you zoom in on the planet you start to see its features, and when you zoom in far enough, it will load up the planetary map for that body. This could also work with other bodies without any planetary data, in the sense that you will see it fully textured when you zoom in. It would make the Orrery view so much cooler to zoom in on a complex gas giant system, to see its atmosphere and rings and its satellites around it. I have no experience in game development, so i cannot say how easy it would be, but I'm sure that just adding a "view planetary map" button to the context menu in Orrery view wouldn't be too complex
