Newcomer / Intro PLANETS BECOME UNKNOWN AFTER MAPPING AND DISAPPEAR FROM SYSTEM MAP

Since the most recent update on 24.1.19.

You FSS all the planets in a system, but when you go to map the planet . . .

Firstly, I've noticed that there is no FIRST DISCOVERED BY showing, only the Mapper.
Secondly, when the planet is mapped it changes to UNKNOWN, goes into scanning mode and keeps looping the message that the planet has been discovered, for ages, even after you've left the system.
Thirdly, when you go into the System Map there is just a black blob where the planet was!

I cannot find any bug report or other players reporting this issue, is anyone else getting this? It's quite a big bug me thinks.

Scenario: When I drop into a system (near the bubble mainly) I honk scan the system, then check the FSS area for Earthlikes, Waterworlds, etc. If there is some there (even if they are already mapped by someone else) I go over to these and map them myself (you still get lots of credits even though they are pre-discovered and pre-mapped by someone else), since the last update, after mapping the planet the name of the planet changes to UNKNOWN, and the scanner keeps telling you it's been found repeatedly. I then look at the System Map only to see a hole where the planet used to be. You still get the credits for the scan but this has to be a bug.

Thanks Factabulous - I looked but couldn't find anything, I knew I couldn't be the only one! I'll add mine to the list. There is a note from FD in one of the posts saying they have a fix for this and it'll be out with the next update.

THAT LOOPING BUG HAS BEEN REPORTED - CHECK THE BUG FORUMS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND IT. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL FIX IT IN THE NEXT PATCH!

HERE'S THE BUG! IT'S ON THE FIRST PAGE OF BUG REPORTS!

Huh, I thought this bug would only come up for asteroid belts and that they'd already fixed it with a server side update (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/474184-FSS-constant-messages-looping-through-discovered-bodies-in-system?p=7376961&viewfull=1#post7376961), because I didn't have a problem since then and I've mapped dozens of systems.

Bug Reports are your friends!
They may be friends who never respond to your texts, dont turn up when they say they will, and always get out of buying the expensive round, but friends non-the-less :)
