Congrats, may you live long enough to finish Odyssey after she finds out.Different even from Origins? I'm intrigued...Steam downloading it now whilst I make my long suffering wife some tea and toast for our 31st anniversary...little does she know she just bought me a present![]()
The best example I can come up with ...
The story, world size and scale and beauty of Origins (without the performance issues; though my i5 6600, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM PC can't do a solid 60FPS on Ultra.. so I locked it to 31FPS and it's happy).
The ship sailing and ship combat of Black Flag.
With the RPG elements of Mass Effect (character customisation (gear and weapons, not physical), and important decision making).
This is an Assassin's Creed on a whole other level.
This is just my opinion of course; some people will like it; other's won't. YMMV.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience so far (I play it on Exploration mode* with Nightmare difficulty).
I chose Kassandra and it only took an hour to fall for her attitude, looks and accent, [haha]
* Two game modes, Guided and Exploration. Guided shows you where to go for most missions; Exploration makes you search for it (this is a great feature as it encourages reading, listening and exploring).
