Master what. You claimed that there are rules to role play. I asked specifically what are these rules. Why keep them to yourself. please tell everyone what they are. all these issues can go away if you would just share.

A good rule is don't take it personally. Do you understand what that means and how it works?

I'm happy to explain.

you told me I was not playing correctly. I have asked you to explain how to play the game correctly. and you just insult me. now you deny the act that you perpetrated. If anyone is owed and apology it would be me. you have insulted me over and over. Have I called you names multiple times??? no. I await your apology.

Find my exact words where I said ANYTHING about you not playing correctly.

Do it.

I don't have to. I remember what I wrote.

Look, it's entirely possible to condemn a person's position in the strongest possible terms without it being personal.

Is this new to you?
you were personally attacking other forum users and a group. it was very personal to you. reflect and learn.

its role playing. don't you get it. criminals use alias all the time. dones't stop the cops from doing their job if they use a fake name. come on don't be so dense

How you wrote it you also only see the person behind the screen and not the 2 or more distinct in-game characters. Which is taking things from out of game into it, bad idea. Alias would be if I could have different names for the same account. Somebody else explained it better than me. In ED, how it is right now, if you change to a clean ship you are not a criminal anymore. Attacking somebody in a clean ship with crimes on makes you the criminal. It's a very simple C&P and many threats have been written about it's usefulness and believability.

I have 2 CMDRs and both behave and and do things different in game. From a role play view they both started in the same system as siblings and branched out from there. One is a freedom fighter in Colonia and the other a retired xeno-hunter in the bubble. They are 2 different person from the perspective of the game even if I'm the person behind both.

manners matter

Start with yourself, highlighted part in your first quote

And that goes both ways. Pretending that the things you say and do in and out of the game is still this fictionary character number 1 only works when you don't cross the line of what's reasonable. There is a code of conduct, I suggest that folks have a read.

The 2nd sentence looks like making things personal, which could easily end up on the wrong side of the ToS for all parties involved.
Seems a lot of people are skirting the line and should read the code of conduct plus the accompanying forum threat(s).

Anyways, I'm of to try to blow up somebody in game.

so why does your role playing have an influence on another players role playing. you role play as 2 characters. fine for you. why does another character need to abide by that. why cant they say that is an alias of criminal xyz and go after the alias. role play works both ways. you cannot force another player to play "your" way.

Maybe you should get some before conflating one person's words with someone else's, because if you used your eyeballs, you'd see you're talking to two different people, one of which literally said nothing of your playstyle.
deflecting still. awaiting the apology still. you know what for.

manners always matter
Yes, unless the person doesn't care about how they are being perceived.

Amazing fact of life #327: useful conversations tend to (euphemism) happen when folks don't insult each other. Corollary: insults tend to make conversations go south (and have threads locked up).
