Please save your salt...

It's -5°C outside, and I'd like my road gritted!...

So instead of posting salty threads, just come and cry on my road for a moment, then we'll both feel better!

Lol, just woke up to find everything covered in snow. Will never get used to the weather in this country.

-15 with a real feel of -24 had about 2m of snow since it started mid December. Im saving mine for the slope down to the buss stop..:D

What? Why would we be posting salty threads now? What's happened? Ram Tah say another random name? Someone else get rammed to death? I can't keep up...

Major update = things change = people can't cope with change = salt

People have the ability to adapt to new situations, but apparently it's easier to just complain. :p

Mmmm coffee...

Oh oh! Today's top tip...

Do NOT, under any circumstances, try to use your washer jets while driving at 70mph in -5°c, when you only filled it with cheap screenwash.... :D
Mine basically sprayed ice on to my windscreen...

Luckily, the washer jets have an "idiot proof" mode, which means they too, freeze, rendering them useless.

-4'C here in England... 2cm more snow and I will probably get a text message from kid's school that they close until further notice.
Economy stops here when it snows - kids don't go to school so parents can't go to work, that results in no mail, shops closed, no public transport haha.

Back in Poland I remember going to school in heavy snow and -15'C... and there was no excuse. Schools were only closed if they had heating problems.

Trust me, there can be such thing as too much salt on roads. I know it from practice :(

And you own my new keyboard and coffee too.

Don't forget the panic buying.

It's far too dangerous to drive to work, but one can drive to the shop and buy 17 tonnes of food...

I don't get why schools are closed. It doesn't snow inside.
