Please save your salt...

Plenty of snow here...After watching the doom-laden reports on the news I was going to Panic..but then realised I lived in a House and have Central Heating...and If I need to go out I own a coat and a hat!
Sad to say though...no Snow Days when you work from home!

When you have a job that involves travel to customer locations, it needs to be BAD to be able to turn around to your boss and say "You know what? I'm not going"

I had to take a day off yesterday because my kid's schools decided to avoid snowmageddon (2 inches) by closing for the day.
One of them has closed for a 2nd day in a row.

The weather forecast for Thursday and Friday is... more and worse to come.
Have fun out there boys and girls!

It's a chilly 27ºC here (at about midnight) in my part of the Philippines. Oh the humanity...

I may have to find a nice ice cold beer to help with temperature.

Z...

I had a message from the kids school today as well. It reads roughly:
'Tomorrow the second grade will go on a field trip to the woods. As it's -10 and windy, it's important that everyone dresses warm.'

Damned straight! None of this namby-pamby wimpy "it's too cold" crap. Dress warm and enjoy it, damn it! <grumble ...kids these days... grumble>
