I think a lot of it comes with the fact they don't want to spoil what the INDORAPTOR so the speculation is that after the movie comes out there will be some sort of dlc that comes out alongside of it.

A free dlc can be very good for sales of the game.
After all you always need to buy the game first to get the free dlc.
I'm not talking about most of us that post here, we already are sold but I'm thinking about people who might think it's to expensive as it is or those that are on the fence and get that little push extra with the free dlc to buy it.

True and I might be wrong about it but my guess is, if they bring out a dlc soon after launch with FK content there's a good chance it will be free or low cost.
I'm basing it on what they did with planet coaster, I believe they had 4 free dlc/updates that had a nice amount of goodies in them.
Of course they might do things totally different with this game and make a big enough dlc that is worth to buy but in that case i won't expect it soon.
