Yeah I was sleepy XDI think Palin says it is "thargoid" and Ram says "it is guardian".

Ah https://canonn.science/codex/hip-14909-distress-call/ - note in redYeah I can't find anything like this anywhere else except HIP 14909. It's a single wrecked Corvette... a green thargoid-like field with pulsing lighting like a Lagrange storm cloud and a scoopable black box. Nothing to scan, nothing shows up.... strange...
Ah damn, i must've missed it on the way in last nightAh https://canonn.science/codex/hip-14909-distress-call/ - note in red
Pot of gold at the end of the glide phase?I predict new missions where we will need to deliver drink to Thargoid sites
Is this the sound of an UR when honked, or is this the sound at the end of the trailer?Followup on my earlier questions about TharGuardian Relics / Unclassified Relics:

- They do not react to the Discovery Scanner honk, even in any location inside HIP 22460, including next to the Bright Sentinel -er, what's left of it anyway.
- They do not slow or stop the degradation of Guardian modules when carried in the cargo hold.
- They do not appear to interact with Modified Plasma Chargers in any way.
- That includes being shot with them, though I only tried an uncharged shot to avoid destroying a sample.
- Quick analysis of the audio of an Unclassified Relic was inconclusive; I need to find a location that does not have background noise to get a cleaner recording:
My eyes think there is something up in the higher frequencies in the middle there, but that is most likely pareidolia. Aside from the periodic clicks, nothing else of note was recorded.
As far as I can tell, Unclassified Relics are solely commodities to sell to either Palin or Ram Tah at this time.
They have a tendency to respawn when you move away from their spawn points. I had an army of them spawning in while the Thargoid Device was having its fit.I'd also recommend being tactical about where you kill scavengers. They pile up and can be an annoying hazard if you go back in to make another set of URs. Would be nice to know what these things are for.
That was a UR just floating in space. As far as I know nothing changed when I honked at it, but I'm going to check that later. Unfortunately I discovered a bug where jettisoning a UR while landed on a planet prohibits you from targeting it to scoop it back up, so I lost one UR. I've got five left, but here's what I learned:Is this the sound of an UR when honked, or is this the sound at the end of the trailer?
Did you check all the debris fields? Or could there be more undiscovered logs? This is why I make posts like this... at least then they're somewhere that isn't a disappearing message bank or a buggy codex
I've been through them all. A good deal don't have anything, and a couple might be bugged... ones with logs would usually contain a scoopable black box, and a "small black box" scannable object. They'd also have a mass lock field when getting closer to the field centreDid you check all the debris fields? Or could there be more undiscovered logs?
People can always miss things, which is why you should try to check for yourself as well, and ideally report new thingsDid you check all the debris fields? Or could there be more undiscovered logs?

However, two different exceptions I found:
- Instead of one scoopable, one scannable black box, I found two scoopable black boxes in literally the same location. Possibly whoever was placing the scannable black boxes got confused?
- At the time I couldn't get to the small field at 16's moons, owing to it being at the barycenter of the two (and so when I'd drop out, the field would be associated with the wrong moon, and so it'd fly off into the distance.
I agree. I have limited time to play, though, so wanted to know whether I should prioritize this or go try making some new relicsPeople can always miss things, which is why you should try to check for yourself as well, and ideally report new things
