I'll ask my question again, I've asked it many times over the past day and still not had an answer, let my try and present in a simple format;

When aligned with a power it was stated that if you attack a ship also aligned to the major faction of that power you will be penalised (lose rep with PP faction).
Does this exclude ships that are wanted by the major faction your PP faction is aligned to or another faction also aligned to the major faction?

''Slaves are no longer food''

I guess they want us to eat fruit & vegetables, bleurgh! /posted by bliss

Its political correctness gone mad ,i demand the right to eat slaves,boiled,diced,or chopped up in a salad....
theres nothing wrong with a cream cheese stuffed slaves armpit lightly smoked served with chips.

There is a change to the bounty system in this build:

Another new change is coming to the Powerplay beta to how the bounties system works. The length of time bounties are active will scale according to the level of the bounty. So at the bottom end – an assault charge, for example – you would receive a bounty, but the time it remains active will be quite low, say 15 minutes. For more serious crimes the time will increase according to the value of the bounty, so at 1,000 credits it’s a day and up to a cap of seven days for bounties of 7,000 credits or higher. The active time will increase if you commit further crimes, so committing numerous assault crimes will increase the bounty value and the time that it is active. We think this will provide better proportionality for crimes that are committed

That is a great change.

Yes it does exclude the wanted ones.

Great news about the bounty timer change! That is going to make the game a lot more fun and allow pirates to operate without having the life of the trader not matter. Previously they were going to be wanted for a week either way so who cared if the trader got iced. Not to mention ease a lot of fears about accidental bounties.
Slaves aren't food? Since when?!
Does this mean we will get a real diamondback at some point? You could just copy this one and make it larger. It's a beautiful ship so two of them wouldn't be offensive. You could just call this one the Lakon Scout and make the Diamondback the type 7's Asp :D

- Stop gimbaled weapons being eager little beavers wiggling around when they've no target

To be fair, I think that was actually a good idea; maybe tone it back a bit but they should gave a bit of wobble when not targetting, as it was this was a good rebalance for being able to detarget and use gimbals as fixed for chaff circumvention.

This makes much more sense than 1 week for every crime.

Thanks for listening to and addressing our concerns. Looking forward to 1.3 release!

The reduced damage gimbaled weapons deal is sufficient penalty already.

Also, perfect solution on the bounty timers. I am greatly pleased. Especially as I have been effectively locked out of testing certain Powerplay mechanics due to a moment of target misidentification during a heated nav beacon showdown in my Power's HQ system! Hopefully the change applies to bounties we already have. Otherwise I might have to get myself blown up to resume testing.

This is a great improvement. Not make it so anything less than 1000 cr is just a fine, and it'll be perfect.

Well...testing the dormant bounties is also part of Beta...I've blown myself up several times already doing that. ;)

Scaling the duration of bounties to the severity of the crime is a very good solution - let the punishment fit the crime.

Well done, and thank you for taking our comments on board.

Now about that speed limit ... :)

Excellent adjustment to the bounties, well done!

Now: how about the Alliance? The only Alliance Power is offering fetch-and-carry missions similar to what you see on the bulletin board. How about something a bit more interesting. It looks from other threads as though some are offering combat/hunter style missions. Why is the Alliance always at the back of the queue?

It reminds me of being at infants school when the kids on the centre tables got all the fun toys and those of us on the small tables had to do crayoning!

@Michael Brooks

Just a minor question. When we do missions, be them trading, combat, mining, whatever, do the credits earned count towards our Rank or are they left in the virtual ether? I am quite certain we would have a lot more mission runners doing other things if we knew that there was more than just faction or power reputation to be gained along with the credits.
