Oh it's all gone quiet over there
Oh it's all gone quiet over there
Oh it's all gone quiet
All gone quiet
Oh it's all gone quiet over there

You're not singing, you're not singing,
You're not singing anymore

And, so on, and so forth

I think that the one-sided CG of last week was a little more honest...
Oh, this is honest.
One side has all the resources of one of the three galactic superpowers, plus incentives (let's be clear, bribes) from the galaxy's biggest megacorporation.
The other is one of several minor political organisations in a single star system.
It's not even remotely fair, but it is honest.
I suspect the more interesting question is what happens next. If I were writing the story, such an unbalanced result wouldn't settle anything, it would only make RMC even more determined, and possibly more extreme. Maybe even head in the same direction as the NMLA.

Not only did the Reorte independence not offer any tangible rewards, but its drop off location is a station vs a megaship. The megaship is much easier and quicker to drop off goods since you don't have that much traffic or the much longer docking/launch procedures. The heatsinks weren't the only thing in this joke of an initiative to be "pre-engineered".

By "unbalanced" I mean "Sirius had a thumb on the scales".
Here, you can buy up to 3 trinkets from us to put on your charm bracelets is hardly a thumb on the scales. Especially, compared to the combat CG in which Reorte mining side could run multimillion credit massacre missions to supplement their income; whereas, our side had no station in which to cash them in. And, we still gave you a much better fight than you gave us in this CG.

Face it, no one wants your smelly independence.

My independence? I'm an Imperial. And since I don't care about the Alliance's internal issues one way or another, I happily sold out to the heatsink side.

That megaship wasn't so great in open with its single large pad (and limited space on the others), especially with certain CMDRs hogging it for literally hours at a time.
Wonder if they were just common or garden griefers, or had some misguided idea they could somehow change the outcome.
Of course, switching modes worked around that, but we shouldn't have to. Blocking them worked though, until the next idler turned up.
