Priority groups get reset randomly since the April update for me. Does anyone else encounter this problem?

Most of the time when i jump in normal space my priority groups get mixed/reset which causes important modules to get deactivated whilst in a fight. Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem too?

Nope, not just you, apparently a bug when using auto-pilot in SC. There are bug reports already.
And ninja'd by Factabulous.

It happens without SCA too. I just tried the game, updated and started without issues. Then I got my Eagle from storage, bought an Advanced DC (interestingly I could buy both, a DC and an ADC, which is more expensive) and left dock. Using auto undock worked fine, and outside I checked my module settings. I usually give weapons 2, fuel scoop and SRV hangar a 3 (no SRV on Eagle), and 4 to Cargo Hatch. My settings were fine, as before the patch.
Flew around a bit, scanned wakes near the port, and since I use 102% for all modules, the Cargo Hatch was disabled when deploying hard points.
Entered SC, flew around looking for USS (in my home system). Btw. it seems there are now more HGE, I found 3.
Returned to port, dropped from SC (no SCA!) and all modules were at 1. Had to fiddle around manually to deploy and scan 2 wakes. So it happens always when entering or leaving SC. Bug report filed.
One thing, if anybody has seen this too: Before the patch it was possible to assign any priority to a module. so I could give 4 to the Cargo Hatch even if all other modules are at 1. This seems impossible now, you can only give it 2. Makes no sense at this time, since it is reset anyway.

I did outfit (installed the new ADC), but afterwards all was fine! Only after returning and dropping form SC all module priorities were reset to 1.
I’m pretty sure I saw this happen while docked after installing new modules. But I was tinkering with a lot of ships so maybe those were the ships I took for a spin.

Not sure if it’s related but I also noticed the fire groups assignations to the honk were transferred to the data link scanner.

Just did another experiment: Logging on, setting the module priorities, logging off, and logging on again (all sitting in the dock) retained the assigned priorities. Will look into this further tomorrow, also with the fire groups. But if the fire groups are changed, and I can change them back and it sticks, that's fine with me. The problem is, that module priorities do not stick.

And it is a problem if you are interdicted, or submit, therefore drop from SC and need to deploy hardpoints, and you have no priorities set! At this point nobody wants to fiddle around...

Seems to be randomly resetting . Havent got the new ADC or SCA made a few jumps docked at a few stations then suddenly all back to 1 again (also havent altered any fire groups)

I just read the (other) bug reports about this problem. (*) One player reports, that it should be enough to set the modules once after the patch, logging off and on again, then the settings should stay. No idea if this is correct - will try it.

(*) The problem of the Bug Tracker is, that there up to 10 reports about the same problem. Does not help identifying problems and is a serious problem with voting, because you would have to vote for all of them, and this way spend your votes...

Okay - tested it: Not entirely sure, but it seems to be the case, that readjusting the priorities and then logging to the menu fixes this!
The same goes for the fire groups, it is a similar problem. I got my combat ship from storage, and checked both. Because of the new slots I moved the DSS from a size 2 slot to one of the new size 1 slots. After this I checked the fire groups and readjusted them.
In the module priorities there were random things too, so for example my FSD at priority 3, what I did never configure. So I checked all the modules, and changed their priorities and set them like I want. After this I logged to the menu, logged back in and it seems to stick. If this is true, then the bug is not so bad, even if still a bug...

@MoonRacer Did you supercruise after logging back in again and then dropping to normal space and check?
Yes I did. I started the game, changed to the ship, adjusted the module slot in Outfitting, and then adjusted fire groups and module priorities. I menu logged, logged back in.
Then I undocked, flew around a bit on the hunt for HGE (found several!), also in other systems, so yes, I entered SC, did low wake and high wake, dropped into signals and entered SC and at the end returned to my station.
