Just had a message pop up on my screen saying that the servers are coming down in 50 mins for an update

I think that has happened already. This specifically stated it was an update. Not sure if it is a separate update from the usual Thursday maintenance. Doesn't that usually happen at about 0730 UK time?

You suspect correct. It amazes me the number of bugs they are leaving unfixed. And let's look at the timing - this fix is all about the XBox One X. They threw in the PS4 Pro to make Stormy happy, LOL, but had their "pet console" not had this issue, we'd still be waiting for a fix for the Pro.

I'd still give it a good test incase some more changes have been made thats let fdev re-enable quality mode.

There's still plenty of bugs to go round tho that we'd all like fixing but I'd much rather be waiting with pretty gfx ;)

There are more Dev's playing on PS4 then on Xbox, there are more PS4 streams then Xbox, last year all focus was on PS4 instead of Xbox. Just saying.

You really need to learn patience. We on Xbox are playing Elite for 2 years, and there are still bugs.. This is what you get with an ever evolving game, if you can't handle that, stop playing, and find another game.

What also helps is to give constructive information to the Dev's in the bug forums.. Complaining all over the forums doesn't really help, at all..

Be careful what you wish for, because if you think I'm alone in my frustration, you're very wrong. Most people do just what you suggest, they quit the game. Is that really what you want? Good luck with your 10 year plan if so.

At least I'm still passionate enough to press the issue.

Sorry man, but you went from 'dont talk silly about PS4 we matter as much as you do!" to "stupid FD and their pet console" rather easily.
