Apparently you want people to leave the game in droves, because that's exactly what's gonna happen with those abysmal spawn rates if there's no viable replacement.I think so. Nobody is forcing them to relog, yet they will literally say they're forced to relog.
They just need to pull relog exploits from the game entirely imho.
There were so many people who refused to join WoW without a free pass to Lvl 60 that they made up a whole character class for them.Is that why pretty much every guide and video for the game recommends doing it? I guess some people are just in denial...
Just call themThere were so many people who refused to join WoW without a free pass to Lvl 60 that they made up a whole character class for them.
Maybe they should just allow some CMDRs to start with triple elite for free. As long as they don't call them something as cringe as Death Knight.
Those guides exist because there is an audience for them. No matter what game and what mechanics are implemented, there will always be players who want the "as fast as possible" way to skip the legwork. Is that why pretty much every guide and video for the game recommends doing it? I guess some people are just in denial...
Aren't they always leaving in droves?Apparently you want people to leave the game in droves
Yeah, playing the game is a grind for some, it is true.Apparently the other option is even worse for a lot of players.
<Pinky to mouth> one MILLION players!Goodness knows how many players the game must have started with!
Full disclosure, this is based purely on my own experience.
But for the past few months, I've been unable to find G4 materials. At all. They just wouldn't spawn. For example, when I would land at a Brain Tree site, this is all I would see:
![]()
Today I got fed up with it, and ran the gamut. I verified my file integrity, I checked on Canonn, I googled like mad, and finally, in a fit of slightly mad rage, I tried randomly changing my graphics settings.
Lo and behold:
![]()
I already collected the G4 mats(in a fit of ebullient joy), but I'm getting all types of biologicals again!
They key seems to be Checkerboard Rendering. When I have it off, I only get Polyporous Growths. When I have it on(and then leave the planet entirely and reland), I get everything I'm supposed to be getting. No idea why a rendering option would effect biological spawn rates, but there you go.
Anyway, after all my anger and madness, I hope this helps someone else avoid the same thing.
Hadn't thought about that.Have to admit i didnt read the entire thread, but... have you posted the coordinates so i can check the finding myself?
Inventing studies and creating slurs for people with different opinions on the other hand is very healthy for the community.I mean grindbois are by nature cheaters and study after study shows that you can't tolerate cheaters if you want the online game to be healthy.
By chance, do you remember what subspecies of brain trees those were? They look like Roseum to me, can you confirm? Here's a spot. IC 2391 Sector HG-X B1-7 , planet 3, coordinates -52.98 by 115.996. There's a single forest around there, where I got only Polyporous Growths.
That SOUNDS right? But I admit I wasn't paying much attention.By chance, do you remember what subspecies of brain trees those were? They look like Roseum to me, can you confirm?

So, I've been doing a survey in Col 132 Sector these past few weeks. Off an on, a few hours here and there. I admit, I hadn't paid too much attention to the shootables on each variety of tree, just to the varieties themselves. But I saw this thread before my last string of jumps, so I have kept an eye out for the past couple of hours.
The last system I was in had two planets with brain trees. Both were exclusively Roseum, and both displayed the reported behavior: drop in on any random spot, and the trees will exclusively have Polyporous Growths.
A few jumps prior to that, however, I hit a system with three worlds with brain trees, all three of which had only Ostrinum (the purple ones). Random drops on two of those worlds revealed small to medium sized groves with the full range of shootables. Most were the Musadian (?) Seed Pods, but there were a few Phloegm (?) Excretions scattered about. Checkerboard Rendering was switched off in all instances. Which suggests an additional variable to control for and study, namely, different loot spawn rates for the different species of Brain Tree.
Yeah, it does that. The DSS will always only show 1 Brain Tree exobiology signal, even on a planet with 2 or more subspecies of Brain Tree present. Only way to tell is to land and pay attention to the colors of the trees.Notably, I did find a full variety of drop types(phloem, etc) on the same planet, after I had taken off and landed in a different spot. I suppose it's possible they were a different species I encountered, but the planet did say it only had 1 bio type.
I just visited that spot with checkerboard off. I also get nothing but Polyporous Growth, so I can kind of confirm. Now someone else has to go there with checkerboard enabled. Here's a spot. IC 2391 Sector HG-X B1-7 , planet 3, coordinates -52.98 by 115.996. There's a single forest around there, where I got only Polyporous Growths.
I was able to take off and land elsewhere on the same planet and locate the full variety of materials. I did leave orbit entirely, just in case, but I'm not sure if that matters.also, according to your experience - is that planet now "burned", or can I touch down on the other side with checkerboard on and maybe get other results?
