Well, it is gut feeling. But it's backed up by a number of years of playing the same game tended to by the same developers...So then it is gut feeling and speculation. Not much better than mine, I suppose. There could of course be a connection between this correction and the new behaviour, since I know the method FDev prefers to solve a problem: the path of least effort and least resistance. I don't know enough about this exploit to speculate whether they might have "solved" the problem simply by adjusting a timer or if that would have make sense at all. Of course I cannot exclude this possibility either.
But before I hear an official clarification, I do not buy this theory of a "broken PWA". Because this is a clear statement, which should be based on clear knowledge but not on speculations. Something has changed is also no prove of buggy or unintended behaviour. Not very helpful, that it's often mixed up with things that most probably have nothing to do with each other, like the much lower core distribution in VO hotspots. Whether it is the same with Painite cores, I will just have a look as soon as I have found a hotspot.
I'm pretty confident that we'll get the old PWA experience back......at some point, after Christmas maybe....if they all get their bonuses.
