A day ago i hat beaten some FDLs. I spent time to learn how to overturn them.
Probably i still not reached perfect pvp skill but, i have no idea how it can help me with this: the just run away, as well the vulture can't masslock them.
In most of FPS as example a tank always in danger because skilled players can shot them from behing.
But there FDLs/Anacondas can feel themselves in complete impunity.
My suggestion: introduce 2 new modules: Stasis webifier and FSD scrambler.
First - reduce speed by 60%
Second - prevent ships from supercruising in 9km range.
And fix combat log.
I've just been in BV Phoenicis, off to do the community goal. I don't have any warrants on me, I don't have any goods on me. I'm just a mercenary Anaconda pilot heading off to do some combat and earn some Cr.
En route to the CZ someone tries to drag me out of frameshift. Ok, possibly a pretty bold pirate wing, or maybe even a bunch of bounty hunters who think maybe I have a warrant. I submit to the interdiction. Ahhh.. a vulture. I throttle down and wait to see what he wants. He instantly deploys hardpoints and starts shooting. I look at the radar and see two of them, in a wing. So I sigh in annoyance and fire up my FSD to continue my journey.
I mean, why? There are conflict zones all over the system if these people want a battle. If they want to brag about how fantastic they are then fight for the faction which is not favoured in the community goal.
But attacking single players who are simply playing the game, to do nothing more than destroy them, is at the very best simply irritating.
I am interested in playing Elite: Dangerous. I am not interested in being someone elses sport or playing an arena shooter or bragging about l33tsk!llz!1!! These modules will amount to nothing more than griefing tools. This just isn't that kind of game, and attempts to make it that kind of game is only going to push more people into solo.
