I did Eve Online 3 times for about 3 months, 2 months, 1 month...
Which is why I'll never mine again. Easy but boring money making. Eve also had the bot fleets that would mine the place out, which was annoying.
Skill queue that exists for no other reason than to delay progress in order to milk a few months of subscription).
Only 1 active skill queue for 3 characters on an account.
What weapon do I use? Oh that one.. ok...buy it...ah crap, have to train for that weapon (and the 3 prerequisite skills).
What ammo do I use to kill what faction's ships?
Not much in the way of PVE (killing belt rats was fun for a while).
At least they had chat channels, corporations, fleets, the ability to easily meet new people and coordinate inside the game.
And drones! Gallente had drones! Loved those drones.

I constantly was told 'Eve is not a lone wolf' type game, but I'm generally a lone wolf...that likes to chat while lone wolfing.

Eve just seemed to have a negative feel to it.
ED let's me pilot the craft with a stick. That's great! None of this "orbit bad guy at 500 meters" drop down menu baloney.
ED lets me buy a ship when I get the money for it and actually fly it immediately. That's great! None of this waiting for skill training to finish.
ED has a myriad of PVE combat scenarios, Nav beacons, USS, SSS, RES, CZ. I love that stuff!
Piloting the craft and dogfighting in ED, for me, means never playing EVE again.
PVP? Ah yes, back to the topic.
Arena, or Solo, Won't have to make a (insurance) claim.
Arena, or Solo, Won't have to make a claim.
Arena, or Solo, Won't have to make a claim. (ok, in Solo, yeah, now and then I make a claim.)
And that standard 95% coverage ED ship insurance....for no additional cost. I kinda like that.
