With a 30 Megaton payload how much accuracy do you REALLY need?
Factual accuracy, not weapon. And even with that kind of yield, you still have to be reasonably close. It's a nuke, not a supernova.

Since when has play balance ever depended upon identically outfitted ships? ED is not some IROC-like racing league where an uber-body dictates configuration.
In real world war/racing/whatever, you -Always- have variation in configurations. Heck, you even have variations in capabilities with the exact SAME configuration from ship to ship. Not intended, but its the nature of complex systems. That is reality. Period.
What does the real world have to do with so-called "play balance" in a silly game? And just what is that specifically? Or did you just make that up?
