Python Mk 2 Combat Build and Review

Sorry this is my first post on the forums. What does that mean?
Sorry I meant Tag, not everybody reads the forums in a situation where videos are appropriate, I for one expected that link to take me to one of the shipbuild sites not yootoob. A heads up would have been nice.

Okay I added the YouTube Video tag to my post. Is that good?

I am using:
4xLarge PA's, All are efficient with 1xTarget Lock Breaker, 1xDispersal Field, 2xFlow Control
2xMed RailGuns with Long Range/Phasing

I am really digging the build. Punchy and does a ton of damage with the PA's. The Railguns are great for when the target is turning around or jousting to get in the extra hits.
I was going to do MC with Corrosive/Thermal Vent, but heat is not an issue at all and the RailGuns are great for extra DPS. I will prob try the Corrosive MC/VentBeam later.

Great build idea! If you are going to use plasmas and rails for pvp, might I suggest thermal conduit for extra damage. You can use dispersal field if you like but I personally just go for bigger numbers even to the point where I sometimes forego target lock breaker entirely.

Here are a couple Python 2 builds using a coriolis anaconda with altered power consumption on the life support and sensors to match the power consumption of a Python 2 outfitted the same way:

This build uses G4 longrange rails to make everything fit on a 0.45 heat plant.

This build uses a 0.50 heat plant, but can fit more shield and G5 longrange rails.

Python Mk 2 Combat Build and PVP Review

What are your thoughts on the Python Mk 2 with regards for combat? What will you be doing with the ship?

Not a pvp-er and not much of a combat pilot either, but I actually liked both the video and the commentary (somehow made me reminiscent of old Yamato movies)
Well done cmdr!

And i have to say, i'm quite happy to see that now FDL has some competition.
I was afraid FDev will either make the ship really crap, either way better than FDL, but it seems they managed to get it done quite nicely

Watched the video yest, we tried different builds with PAs, APAs, all frags, 4xPacifiiers + hounds/rails etc... paci/frags seemed better manageable (pips etc) vs the other distro hungry set up (2-4-0 all the time) ship is a blast, quite nimble indeed.
