I went Python due to the medium pads. I have it fully kitted out (284m buy. ~255 sell. and a 13.7m rebuy with the 16% hull discount accounted for. This includes milspec armor, 6A fuelscoop 7A plant and all other A-Grades and a pair of C3 Beam Turrets. I flew an Anaconda for a while as a trader and never even felt compelled to try it in combat. Used the Anaconda to earn the kitted Python. It was well worth the investment.
For PVE, I can solo any of the SSS varients without issue. For PVP, I can win just about any 1v1 and only fear other Pythons and Anacondas that are well fit so I'm very cautious with them. Swarms of vultures destroy me. Nothing I can do about them when they target my PP. Kinda sucks.
Over all though I love my Python. I ground my way to it just so I could have my "one" ship that I can do everything with. Yes, even exploring, battle fit. Thargoid's won't know what hit 'em.
Oh and this ship with a 6A fuel scoop makes for a perfect nomad ship. Jumping fastest route with a 6A fuel scoop I can keep up with an Anaconda's jump range by my sheer speed. I usually have the fuel for the last jump regathered before my normal FSD cooldown is complete. Just skim the sun long enough to align to the next jump and go. When combined with a 7A plant you won't care about the shorter jump range. That scoop is 28m though... but it's well worth the investment in my opinion since I'm very nomadic.
EDIT: DEATH IN THESE SHIPS SUCKS. Plan your rebuys accordingly.
