Question about passenger ships - Dolphin, Orca, Beluga

I actually power my DC down when trying to dock silent running. I switch it back on once im well inside cause big ships have been known to bounce off the pad, under my control at least so i let the DC do it.

Another docking computer caveat: if you're not all the way through when you hit the brakes, the ship will start trying to maneuver while inside the slot. Lost 30 million that way once, not counting the rebuy.

Yeah RELSPI, you must be through. If it does hang up you can retake control, move into the station centre and then re-engage the DC.

I run Dolphin missions out of Kremainn, mostly Luxury and "if" you are allied up they pay very well and you get to some tourist things yourself.

Kremainn is in the catchment for those juicy GD 215 passenger runs isn’t it? It used to be one of my favourite home systems, until sadly its hiRES disappeared.

I relocated to LTT 15574 which has a HiRES and a manufactured mat trader, good base system for my new CMDR’s, though its outfitting isn’t so hot...

The Eravate area is pretty sweet to be fair.

I cut nearly a third of the required credits to hit Exploration Elite off by running sightseeing missions in the Orca. It paid well and gained rank.

I'm partial to the Orca, which I have engineered to run very fast and very cool. I use it for sightseeing, rescue, transport and smuggling operations.

It goes Ding! like the tone to fasten seatbelts on a jetliner when you hit boost and has a fantastic view out of the cockpit. It's middle ground on the Saud Kruger line, and an underrated ship. The fact that so few own one makes it even better

The only thing i dont like about the orca is the hand print on the nav panel.

for lux mission, i love my bulge liner, for 1st class and long-distance orca and dolphin for business class... however for a mix cabins below lux or bulking eco class i do have to recommend The Corvette without shield (with passager mission don't need much for eco bulk) and just a docking computer it can hold 212 eco class seats but like type 9 for trade it range is lower to about high 15ly jump depending how you configure
