Thank you for help. I was just worried that if I could start on PC with the same frontier account that is linked to my Xbox account that I would lose everything on my Xbox CMDR.My fault, I thought you were asking to transfer. Yeah just fire up Elite on PC, create a commander and you're good to go![]()
They have different logins as far as I know. When you log in to a Frontier service, you use the Xbox authentication, but on PC you use email and password. I have a PC commander and an Xbox commander and I didn't have any issuesJust for clarification- So I can start a PC CMDR with the same frontier account that is linked to my Xbox and not lose everything I have earned on my Xbox CMDR as long as I don’t go for a credit asset transfer?
This is interesting as I was considering potentially doing the same and decommissioning my PS5 Carrier and getting one on the PC. I suppose I could keep two as the upkeep isn't that big of a deal.I recently decommissioned it but had my PC ship on it because that made sense to me.
Interesting enough now over a month later..possibly due to being on Odyssey on the PC, the Fleet Carrier is still there.
I cannot land on it but I can fly to it…it talks just like it did before and I can select it. No other actions exist but I do hope this doesn’t become an issue if I were to buy one on PC.

I already own the game for pc. I got it when it was free on epic games store. It’s just that I was wondering if it was safe to use the same account. To start on PC you need to buy another ED account (game).
My advice would be to use a different email address for that account - easier to keep things separated (issue tracker logins, inara logins, etc)
