There is a gap in ships focused on the three primary career paths in Elite, the Alliance is also the only super power that does not have a third tier unlock. The Federation gets a powerful Corvette, and the Empire gets the elegant Cutter. I propose an Alliance, tier 3 ship focused on exploration, with 20ly jump range stock. and 50-70 A Rated without engineering. This would help exploration players have a dedicated large ship to help them achieve new prospects.
