One just got closed because of me, whoops[bored] think I came off a bit ruder than intended but I just find it funny how a certain circle get let off for basically causing all drama there is on there by being provocative towards other members, and then when other people get frustrated etc action is taken. There were also a few threads asking for a statement about the misleading box (they were almost duplicated so fair enough all but one thread was spam) but that was quickly deleted I noticed. Don't want to talk about moderator actions of course but there is a definite bias, which in the short run I understand but it's only harming them in the long run. That forum is toxic and its solely down to one or two people

Cant remember where it was but Nook has said (I think today) that its coming. This isn't the cleanup, that is yet to come...

It's fair enough that they got closed. The real culprit is deadtome's trolling.
He always gets stuff riled up way more than it was with his terrible arguments.

There will be more complaint threads. You can count on that.

What they probably mean by 'clean up' is a mass banning of anyone that is being overly critical - just like they did when they launched EA. If they're doing that again now, it makes me think they might be moving to full launch soon.

It's all pointless though. If the people complaining about the game are moved on, then who is really left? 90%+ of all threads/posts made in the last month are either people complaining, or arguing.

Well you may find it more interesting that Planet Coaster has more items in 1 theme than RCTW has in 4. Again its good you found the difference that Frontier puts so much work into each and every theme that every one feels full and have sooooo many uses. Oh I am feeling sorry for Atari right now, when are they going to file for bankruptcy again, it has to be coming soon surely.

I wonder if they will file for bankruptcy before full release. It has got to the point where I want Atari to fail, Nvizzio just happen to be caught in a sh*tstorm which is unlucky for them but this treatment they give their fanbase is unbelievable. I sometimes wonder if the CEO even knows its going on, or is he sat at a beach ordering cocktails with Dan's and Deathtomes money.

I left a comment, I think thats a good idea because people can view all of their opinions without going into other threads and commenting on something that may be a nice thread for them

Dan, Planet Coaster will have Vanilla(planet coaster), Spooky, Western, Fairytale and Pirate themes for release date. They are in the game folders. So five total themes.

I suspect that the Space theme is going to be DLC since it isn't in the folder.

Huh, interesting, I would think they have even more planned for DLC. Maybe instead of space futuristic. A jungle would also be nice, I love using the adventure theme in RCTW.

I never really understand the obsession with negativity/positivity over there. Just being 'realistic' is the best way to provide feedback - but obviously, with so many negatives in the game, 'realistic' feedback will be mostly negative!

I think so long as a person is being realistic and fair in their criticism, that's all that really matters. Complaining because there's too much negativity - is a complaint that really should be made about the game itself, not the community. Yet there are people over there so mind numbingly stupid that they believe if everyone focussed on being nice, rather than being honest, the game will somehow improve. It's sad to see Nook himself questioning negativity!! It's his (Atari's) game that's peed everyone off in the first place! [rolleyes]

If you plant lots of trees and plants... you can make a jungle. took me ages to figure that out, I wish we could have pre-made jungle stuff. The one great thing about RCTW is it never forces you to be creative, in fact it actively prevents it - which I think is a good thing. We can't all be brainy enough to figure out how to make our own jungle stuff.

A. We had a private press suite at the Radisson Blu in Cologne, Germany where we provided demos for several of our games.

A. More articles will be available after press releases them. They are still working on their write-ups.

5. Was it only a small group of press or did the public manage to play with the PxP at the event?
A. We met with press only.

6. If it was only press how many press was the game shown to?
A. About 15 European outlets.

So... basically... yes, it's coming out this year. What's the betting water rides get bumped into the six flags expansion too! I'm thinking the expansion will be used to effectively monetize a lot of content, features and fixes that should have been in the main game.

Frontier should start teasing some really wild, off the wall nonsense just to watch Atari do the same with RCTW.... Atari will attempt to include whatever it is Frontier is doing. And then Frontier can come in behind Atari's announcement like, "Just kidding, we've actually been working on this instead." We'll get water and transport rides, and RCTW will get garbage and sewer management.

Well Nook basically just confirmed it was happening by saying there would be an announcement about expansion (and full release) soon.

As for how - it makes no sense for the players. For Atari, it potentially means they can extend the time they have to finish what was originally all supposed to be in the first game, and also get a second payday. Nice, huh?

Kinda leaves me feeling sick.

Thing is, we all know it's not really going to really be ready for release whenever it is released - so it's not really going to make a difference. Anyone who would buy the full game on release, might just as well buy it now! And most people that would, have done so.

I'm sure they'll sell a few more copies by officially releasing it. But this game will never be a success for them. And yes the refund pressure will be insane (probably from a lot of current owners too), and Atari will no longer have the protection of EA.
