Many of us at Nvizzio have read almost every post in this forum over the past 12 months. You have already had a big influence on the development of RollerCoaster Tycoon World in the past year, but this is our first “developer” post.
Tomorrow is a special day for us at Nvizzio; you, the true fans of the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise, will finally be able to play RCTW. I speak in the name of everyone here at Nvizzio when I say that we are both excited and impatient.
Excited, because we can’t wait to share the game in its current state with you tomorrow. We will keep tweaking and adding new features throughout the Early Access period and beyond. As we are now fine-tuning, polishing and testing the very last build before release tomorrow —yes, the build that is going to be released to YOU tomorrow- we see amazing coasters and parks, beautiful graphics, stunning details, rich and deep AI, a great UGC system, and so much more. I want to share with all of you that all our programmers, artists, designers, testers and producers have been 100% committed to creating an awesome RollerCoaster Tycoon experience. As such, I feel a great sense of respect and loyalty towards their hard work and dedication. I also want to share with you that Atari has been an amazing publishing partner, fully respecting the RollerCoaster Tycoon brand and fully supporting us.
At the same time, we are now incredibly impatient because we can’t wait to take RCTW much, much further in the coming weeks and months. Speaking of which: we have already started – months ago - working on a lot of the upcoming features so we should have a nice and smooth rollout in the coming months. The RCTW team here at Nvizzio is full of energy and passion and it’s truly amazing to see how they all love the brand.
So tomorrow is only the beginning for us: we have a clear roadmap which we are fully committed to, and we will keep working as efficiently and as hard we possibly can to ultimately create the best and highest-quality RollerCoaster Tycoon game ever. And we won’t stop until we reach that goal. In order to achieve this extremely high ambition, we need your input, feedback, help, ideas, suggestions (and also criticisms) as much as you are willing to contribute.
I can only thank you in advance for your support and involvement with the continued development of RCTW.
Sincerely, from all of us at Nvizzio,
Yves Legris
