It is a real shame how things have turned out. I was hoping for some healthy competition for Planet Coaster to spur each others development on.
I guess Parkitecht is the only competition now...[ugh]
I think we all were, but Frontier have always wanted to build a new Theme Park Game on their own, without the restraints of an outside publisher like it was when they built RCT3. As we have all seen from the Dev Blogs, these guys are very passionate and dedicated to everything they do and want to put into the game. So whether RCTW sinks or swims, I don't think it will have any influence on Planet Coaster. Frontier have the game planned out for the future and will gain full support from everyone who loves this genre, one the word gets spread. For those who are remaining loyal to the Atari franchise, then good luck to them, but I think eventually, they will be coming to Planet Coaster, with their tails between their legs, when RCTW is a dying duck.
