Re Garding complexity meter

I think that they have to get rid of the complexity meter because it does not allow you to build a full park this is a stupid thing they have in the game ps5 player someone should mention it to the developers of the the game and tell them to get rid of it i hear others players complain about the idea of build a park is to build a full park with out complexity meter

The only way around this is to buy a PC, which has no restrictions like this.

It is not even Frontiers fault. The game has to be performant within certain guidelines set out by Sony and Microsoft, if you don't meet them, they won't allow the (or any) game to be released on their console platforms.

This meter is way of adhering to these rules.

It may seem like it but it's a blessing in disguse, even if it's frustrating for this specific game, these rules affect the Planet games in a different way to most other games, purely because it's a sandbox. They have to limit it somewhere, else a time would come that the game slows down to slide show. Even for the most well optimised games, and this game is very well optimised from what I can see.

Given the current state of the gaming industry as a whole right now and the sheer amount of games that get released on PC, where no such rules are in place, that have performance and stability issues is staggering. Many console games would have these same issues that many PC games have if it wasn't for these rules.

These rules do ALOT for ensuring the games that you do buy for your nice console run and they run reasonably well, so that they can be enjoyed. It doesn't unfortunately ensure the quality of said games though, but that's a whole different topic....Ubisoft and EA say hello.

Here we go again.... We had the exact same discussion when Planet Coaster 1 hit Consoles. Since you can build custom things in your Park, and lots of it, the Devs have no more control over the performance of the Game. On Consoles and on PCs this is not limitless. At a certain Point the FPS will tank no matter how beefy your PC is. Sure, the ceiling on PCs is higher in general but it will happen. Unfortunately that ceiling is way lower on Consoles. Even your shiny new PS5. The Complexity Meter is there to keep it manageable.
