I understand that there are some pretty decent bots that can play for you...

Innuendo aside, when was the last time you spent 4 hours on her?
It's a balance, mate.
All a balance.
Omg, so awesome!. Can you purchase another account so that you can play with her and not have to wipe your other account?OK, story time. My lovely wife for years identified as a Privateer Widow thanks to my obsession with that game not long after our marriage. Eventually, I got her playing some games with me (we play a lot of co-op games today). But when ED game out, she got that same look in her eye from long ago and I figured my goose was cooked.
We did come to an understanding about playing the game (she got a gonzo gaming rig out of the deal). But hands down, she did not want any part of Elite.
I've probably played close to 1800 hours since, but recently have been taking longer and longer breaks because I play alone and at this point, I've done most of the things I can do that I want to do. So, hadn't touched the game since late January.
Out of the blue last week, on seeing the newbie start area, she now wants to play. I'm totally toying with wiping my character and starting over as a noob+, but never in my life did I think we'd get to play this game together. Methinks Borderlands3 going exclusive on Epic helped, as we are huge Borderlands fans and definitely not Epic fans, so she wanted something new to play with me. In any case, this is pretty cool, and I should be back in the game again soon!
