Whilst enroute to Orion - I found this beast quite close to the bubble - 20,852km Radius, just under 2g. The interesting thing about the planet is a crater at least a 1000km wide, completely shrouded in a deep mist.

HYADES SECTOR EL-Y D39 A 1 - Have found Chromium/Mercury/Niobium at my landing site (14.78 / 105.4)

I'm confused.

How can it be 54 Earth masses, and only be 3.61g?

Isn't it the mass that denotes gravity? Shouldn't it be 54g?
I believe its mass + rotation speed that determine the G rating. The mass itself pulls things but the rotation really sucks *heeheeehee* Im sure theres a formula around there somewhere but I think im correct

Gravity is dependent on size, mass and density. Rotation speed if anything slightly offsets the gravity. So if the earth stopped rotating we would get slighly heavier.

Updated! Thanks people. I'm still updating the list, btw, so keep on feeding it!

Anything interesting about these planets other than size?

Well if there is anything specific about a planet on that list besides its size, CMDRs are more than welcome to tell about it, that's for sure. The size was deliberately chosen as the highlighted feature as it's an impressive one, and a simple info to rely to. I didn't want to ask for too much details, as it tends to clog this type of thread fast. So size is the starting point, but thanks to names, locations, and screenshots, more infos can be given if one wish to dig in. And again, any story about the discovery is very appreciated. Just not mandatory.

Aww sorry sir, but your planet radius is 15.950Km. It's less than the last on the list. And I can't put it in the "they were big..." list, as it's more of a list of planets that were there at the beginning but got pushed off the list. A veteran museum, if you will. Cool screenshot though! Keep exploring and find us a giant :)

My mistake

Huh my bad I was 100% that said 16.950

But tbh if you look at other 5's in my screen shot they clearly have much more of a gap . So im pretty sure its 16.950

Here's one out near Colonia for the list;

Eol Prou PX-T d3-1322 CD 9 @ 19,334 klm radius;

I am sure I have seen others quite large out this way but I didn't realise this list even existed until quite recently.

Not a first discovery by me unfortunately so I can't take credit for that,but it's not been reported before so I am taking credit for that!
