Really?! This is game breaking and have been reported in beta multiple times!

Why are the weapons deployed in the station ? - or is that the bug ? - or just that the turret seems to be tracking something ?

I can just imagine the poor Little Fix standing at the update port, all alone, wondering what's going on. Checking the watch, it goes to the information stand and asks: "When is the update coming? I've been waiting for hours, is it being delayed?" - "The update?" the QA at the stand replies "The update already went out. Right on time." - "Oh." said the Fix with a sad face "I was supposed to be on it."

Looking back and forth between the QA person and the empty update port the little fix asked with a forlorn tone: "What am I going to do now?" Trying to be encouraging, the QA puts on a business smile and replies: "Well, you can wait for the next update. There will always be another as long as we're in business and we have no plans on closing any time soon." - "When is that next update coming out?" asked the Little Fix with a glimmer of hope. "Well, I don't know exactly, maybe in a few weeks or so." the QA remarked. "Oh." said the Fix, the glimmer of hope fading, "I guess I'll just wait over there then."

Ignoring the business smile and nod from QA, the Little Fix huddles up in a dark corner where the rain doesn't drench it as much and the wind isn't as cold. Waiting. For the next update. Whenever. Maybe, if it just sticks around, it won't miss it this time.

Sir... you made my day... got some writing skills. :)

On behalf of the others who have asked, and myself
WHAT IS THE BL**DY BUG ?

Ty :)

Obviously the OP can now only pitch up and down and not move foward at all - it's game breaking. Stop making fun of this serious issue.

The turrets are pointing the wrong way. Which looks terrible to be honest.

Ah man, that genuinely got to me :(

For the the few who don‘t get it and have not been able to click on the link to the bug report in the post. ;)

The turrets are pitching in the wrong direction.

This bug was new since beta 1 and maybe it slipped in while FD fixed the visual placement of the turrets viewed from the cockpit.

Heh, that's interesting, they reversed the y-axis on the turret. Not the first time they messed up direction on something. Once, they got left and right backwards on the camera in the decal fitting on the imperial fighter.

Eh what's the issue. Turrets deploying in a station, turrets tracking a target in a station...

I have no idea what this is about :D

I watched the video and read the bug report, and I still don't know what the problem is...

The turrets are targetting... stuff?

What I don't get is how this is game breaking?

The issue is that the turrets don't fire 90% of the time except for a very narrow band where the incorrect axis shift doesn't matter much.

I'm glad this mystery was solved. It obviously breaks the game so much they had to disable skimmer and mining missions because of it!

Boo to the Anaconda turrets not facing in exactly the right direction.

Its not just Anacondas - any L3 turret is broken - kind of a bummer for a ship with the agility of a snail dying to eagles, cobras and vipers because it can't apply DPS.

Have you tried "Storing" the offending Turreted weapons and then transferring them back onto the ship?

I was having some odd turret behavior issues similar to this after 3.02 was released on ships I had not used since the 3.0 dropped. I finally had a thought to remove the weapons and put them back on and this actually fixed the problem.

Not sure if the issue here is exactly the same as what I was dealing with, but it would be worth a shot just the same. :)
