No Grants or Dorcas Gazelle? Tragedy!I just got word from the King of Africa.
The new “Big 5” of Africa are the following:
1. Jentink’s Duiker
2. Aoudad
3. Bottlenose Dolphin
4. African Manatee
5. White Headed Buffalo Weaver

make oneWhy the extreme boring leotard gets his own topic, but the gerenuk doesn’t?
Who cares, I mean, you can just imagine that the Amur Leopard is the African Leopard, not much difference, there is like a perfect mod for the African Leopard as well. The African leopard is a very iconic predator, the most common and well know Leopard subspecies.
Also, if we get the African leopard, the Big 5 of Africa would be complete in PZ.
Yeah leopard mods are gorgeous, but amur is basically the only leopard subespecies that is very visually distinct from the tropical leopards. Has thicker fur, rounder face, different eye shape and is fluffier/bulkier. All other leopards vary basically just in color.Who cares, I mean, you can just imagine that the Amur Leopard is the African Leopard, not much difference, there is like a perfect mod for the African Leopard as well.
Why did you put Siberian in brackets?Of the big three lion/tiger/leopard I actually prefer the beautiful tiger, but I still only want one ((siberian) tiger species in my zoo game rosters...
Why though? We need a better variety than just 1.Because that is the only tiger species I want in zoo games
I mean, I think this is one I particularly disagree on - Bengal + Siberian is honestly the best solution because they are both iconic but have very different habitat preferences and distinct appearances. Both are common in Zoos and if anything I'd argue that being able to complete an iconic India setup with Bengal is more important than being able to complete a small corner of the Russian Far East with Siberian. Having both alleviates that, and while I'd agree that there are other absent cats that take priority (Ocelot, Serval, Pallas Cat etc) the same principle does still apply to a lesser degree with Leopard subspeciesBecause that is the only tiger species I want in zoo games
But the slots for species offered by the Frontier are very limited , having one more tiger subspecies means less possibility for us to get more diverse animals like Secretary Bird, Tree Kangaroo, Black Howler etc.Why though? We need a better variety than just 1.
I don’t understand that people don’t understand that it is much better to get all the unique variety first, and then fill up the holes with these almost 100% clones. You can’t fake having a secretary bird in the game, you can easily fake having the asiatic lion instead of the African oneBut the slots for species offered by the Frontier are very limited , having one more tiger subspecies means less possibility for us to get more diverse animals like Secretary Bird, Tree Kangaroo, Black Howler etc.
Servals are my favorite!Who in their right mind would want an African cat that’s anything other than the Serval, let alone the African Leopard.
