I would be all for faster transfer times (at least 2x as fast as the current times, yes space is big, it's really really big, its not like going around the corner to the local chippers

but then I would also imagine that these mega freighters would have some damned impressive jump ranges, to use a RW analogy, long distant hauling trucks, they typically can travel over 1500KM on a single fill up, compared to an average car that can travel between 350 and 500km on a single tank (without long range tanks). Some long distance trucks can go even further on a single fill up if they have the extra 2 side tanks that many do use. Can they get to the destination faster than a driver in a car?? Often yes because they have 2 drivers and do not need to stop for sleep.
