how come RN is posting to EDDN as test schema data?

There's a "Use Test Schema" setting for that at the bottom, it defaults to the test schema but you can change the setting. It works that way (in my mind at least) because people who bother to think about and uncheck the box, are the same people most-likely to be taking care to upload good data.

Is the output not considered 'ready for primetime'?

Probably... especially now it doesn't upload system-unknown data, but it depends on a) your definition of primetime, and b) very much, the resolution that the user is running at. It has a colossal effect on OCR quality.

Absolutely excellent tool. Takes all the tedium out of working out trade routes and profitability without removing all the 'game' aspects of the game.
Was wondering if you had put any thoughts into some kind of auto-update code to save you from having to update this thread all the time, if I understand correctly this shouldn't actually be that hard as you are using github, I understand it would likely be low priority though.

Updating the thread is the least of the time-consuming parts, but it's still not a bad idea. I'll put it on the to-do list...

Updated to 1.6 with an all-new OCR Corrections "Edit" button that should make checking and fixing your OCR data much easier.

You *will* end up with an OCR Corrections Images directory full of tiny PNGs - I've not decided how to maintain this directory, but you can safely delete it if you need the space.

Hi i downloaded the software but i have some problems to get it working. I play at 2560x1440, after the OCR Calibration which works as expected, when i take a screenshot (using F10) i get an error:

I click on Ok and i get the error for 7 times, then i get this error:

Am i doing something wrong? Is it not suppoed to work for the 1440p resolution?

Me too!

The width of -16 is a sign that the calibration's wrong. Since you're playing at the same res as me, try my values. Open Calibration.txt, change the values to those that follow, save it, re-open RN and try again.

For all my releases, you can just unzip the latest release on top of the old one - all four config/autosave files (autosave, commander's log, calibration, settings) remain valid when upgrading - unless I specifically label a release otherwise. Funny that I deliberately coded it this way but never thought to mention it before

This is becoming a must have tool in my opinion, it's certainly making the trading aspect of the game far less 'grindy' for me. Many many thanks for you efforts, they are massively appreciated.

I do find I spend a lot of time correcting OCR mistakes, usually the same ones. What would really help is a drop-down of common corrections I have entered before, for commodities.

Gonna try and get the GitHub wiki up and running with a user guide, but it will be pretty brief stuff to start with. The application is changing so much at the moment, there's little point going into too much detail...

Can Commander's Log Tab be move to be underneath the Current Station ( from log files)
To be able to click on the system in the left window & have the logs (if any ) loaded for that system
Events to have Shipyard, Outfitting
Current Station ( from log files) to show current station , if possible

Once the program is running when I alt-tab into Elite it appears to either crash or shutdown as when i alt-tab back to the desktop it has gone and restarting it resumes the whole process again.!?

Crikey, you sure don't hang about, I had just managed to get to point 3.!!!

If it helps any, if pointing to Product folder, quitting and restarting it seems to be staying open through alt-tabs.
