I've noticed the return trip listings are really buggy.

Should list the same station in the return trip, or have an option to list same station or same system.

Hello again,
uninstalled, redownloaded, reinstalled and still getting this error

Let it auto update to 4142 and still getting it

I wasnt doing anything, I had just launched it. And I dont even know what it means.

edit: still seems to be working okay, but an error to have none the less.

I am also getting the same Error "A table in the Database is locked". Just getting another Error Screen with the text i put into Spoiler Tags.

I cleared the Folder under Appdate/Local/Slopey.com and then reinstalled it but that did not help. Interesting thing is that the program works when i click the messages away.

My only solution to the table in the database being locked issue was to close the BPC, ensure the process is closed just in case, then go to the EDC install folder and the delete the database file "ED4.db". On some occasions, I have to do this twice - I'm not sure if it has something to do with the "ED4.db-journal" file or not.

Re-Open Slopey and redownload and parse the full DB and I'm back up and running.

I can't get the new release to work at all. when launching the BPC I only see the news window, when I close that I can see the BPC in the taskbar but clicking on it does nothing, and when I look in Task Manager it says the program has stopped responding. Any help?

under options it is possible to clear the database and after that you can force download and have the newest data (which might take a lillte longer then the normal update, because it has to reload all data).

I don't think that will solve someone entering NOROENSKIOLO instead of NORDENSKIOLD because they thought the D was an O. It will just download the same incorrect name. No?

Yes, but I'll be tidying up those sort of entries shortly also. I have a script for that to look for close, but not correct, values.

You can remove them - right click on the commodities/system data grids (or system last updated grid) - you can multi-select and delete the data.

A flagging option will be along at some point, but if you're there and the data is wrong, you should just update the data rather than flag it.

How long is "normal" for the parsing stage? I just timed mine after I did a database reset and it took 11m30s. What on earth is being done that takes so long, and why is the data not delivered in a usable format in the first place?

I wonder if there might be a problem with translation into some languages as I noticed yesterday there is:
Leesti (George Lucas) & Leesti (Georges Lucas).
The correct version of that also has a problem with Legal Drugs being called Drugs (I think this may be a common problem and probably results in changes from the betas). Also some Metals are mixed with Minerals but this also appears common.

Edit: Just noticed that @bigtaff has also highlighted the Drugs/Metals/Minerals problem.

Would it also be possible for caps to be turned into normalised text? Currently this creates two stations with the same name. One written in caps and the other normal.
