You have to make sure that TCE folder was added to trusted locations.
Before i made it i had received warnings that macro were blocked.
I was able to see 'TCE loading' in game UI, however after few seconds it crashed with error '76, path not found'. I have used Excel 2013 SP1.
When i have used Excel 2007, Excel window loaded then nothing happened.
Have anybody was able to use TCE?

Not working in Excel 2003 unfortunately. Doubleclicking the .xlsm file opens a password window - Excel wishes to convert the code to 2007 it seems.
Have added the TCE folder to the trusted locations in security center, but still getting macro's disabled message :-(

As Gothos says, renaming the folder "FORC-FDEV-D-1003" to "FORC-FDEV-D-1001" allows it to load without error 76 but then E

Code is password protected, so I'm done for now. If the author would like some help converting to Open Office, PM me, but I'd concentrate on getting it bulletproofed with Excel first if I was you.

Nah, it's trying to use commands not available in Excel 2003 in all likelihood. 2003 doesn't recognize them, so it attempts to open the code to display the error. The code is password protected, and that's why you get the prompt for the password.
Another update for Excel 2013 users (V1.02). Please try it out.
I think the install structure differs, because the installation path of the Launcher app of ED is not the same as the path of the game. I reinstalled it too, given the Launcher the folder D:\Elite Dangerous. The game installs on top of it. I will change TCE starting sequence, so the user have to select the logs folder, which habors the netlog*.log files. The selected folder will be saved into the config file.

How did I found out? Easy... started it, after launching ED.... now I got a problem: I can't leave the session any more, PC won't shutdown, I'm stick on the Thrustmaster and my trackIR is no more stopping anymore.... HELP, HOW do I get rid of ED now?! HEH?!
