@ Eventure: maybe it's written somewhere: I'm on 3 screens: 5760x1080... is there a way to get the console centered? :) tia! And again: EXCELLENT WORK!!!!

Can you show me how it look now on your system. I will see, if i can make it and btw. please withdraw your shouting, that TCE is a virus. TCE is not 100% bug free. I will help if i can, when problems occur. Thanks.

lol, done :) Just have some things to finish, will post it after 20:00 :) The whole screen is left sided.... so all is on te left screen instead of in the middle :)

Interesting data there, but no way for it to update other than entering new data yourself? Did I misunderstand?
Without a data update this will be good for maybe a week.

My experience is, that most stations commodities stays at there prices, all the time, some may change, but they differ less than 2%. So when entering a station, check all prices and you will see, there are perhaps 2-4 commodities that have changed a little. Correct them and continue your travel to the next station.

@Eventure, Looks very nice, I've got 2013 and downloaded.

In the trust center for Macro settings I have "Disable all except Digitally signed macros", but every time I run the excel file, it says that it's disabled the macros.

I've clicked the "Show Signature Details", then "View Certificate", then "install certificate" - tried both current user & local machine options, gone through the wizard with "next" and each time it said "Import was successful".

Tried the opening the excel file - and macros are still disabled.

Anyone any ideas???

Thanks

With my macro settings set to "yeah, I know we just met, but you seem cool", I get a database window followed by error 1004.

Excel macros are a black art to me, so I'm stuck I'm afraid.

I've managed to install the certificate, but now I'm also getting this - except I don't have the pink borders :)

EDIT - OK, I got it all working - foolish I didn't "install v1" first, I went straight to v1.03 and opened the excel ;) - All working now and looks very good.

EDIT #2 - Been having a play around with it (without ED running) to see what is what, but I keep getting errors - mainly "type mismatch", one of them appears on the trade screen and I have to use task manager to close it as the form is on top (above the error msg). I'll try and pinpoint / replicate them when i get more time to play with it.

Please check the following: Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Content Tab > Certificates

There should be a entry for TCE in TrustedPublisher, TrustedRoot and Intermediate. When not, try prestart.bat in the TCE folder again, or install it manually in each named area.

Ah, it worked, fine.

@Eventure: as you see, one part on left, other on right... now, if it's possible it would be nice to let us drag and drop it where we want on the screen, rather than a fixed/forced position... but again, I don't know how much work it demands :)

To all users, please tell me, if all is working, what Version of Excel you are using (except 2007). I want to add them to the starting post. Thanks.

another little un-important issue: I always had an error with can't find path or whatever (Excel 2010)... after the patch (yours) 1.03 it worked, but now on each start it asks the log path... :)

Thx for the screenshot. It seems it does not scale correctly. Checking the code now.

Did TCE finds your ingame position correctly and displays it at the shiplog? If not, its the wrong path selected for the log folder. But i found a bug on starting TCE, will update soon.
Sry, only fixed positions of panel. If i disable it, no transparent windows anymore and thereafter no ingame display of TCE. But perhaps i can change it later for individual x/y positions.

New Update (V1.05) fixes repeative path selection at start and adds centered Main Panel for larger resolutions (hopefully).

Repeated log path fixed, but it might have been my fault, I'm now pointing to the right log path!

Little remark: I Only d/l the update 1.05 and overwrote the file... the start screen says 1.04... guess it's just a picture in full 1.05 version.

Now there's a screen issue: the whole task bar went from left screen to right and above, so now I only see the half of the bar on right screen... :/

tia :)

Hi there,

Firstly, on updating to v1.06, it deleted the TCE folder in C:\Users\Guy Tanner\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1010 so that may be worth keeping an eye on.

On starting, running on a windows 7 64bit with Office 2010, I get vvb error complie error in hidden module panel_db_stars

Any ideas?

excel 2013
Error on startup
error.pngerror2.png
TCE installed in this location
error3.png
two locations on the PC for ED.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch (Does NOT contain products folder)
and
C:\Users\Lee\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments (DOES contain Products folder)

I get NO prompting from v 1.5 on any of the games install locations and have tried placing the TCE folder into BOTH filepaths, with the same resulting error.

Running W7-64b and Exl2010 as like you, it launches (not yet started to really use it...)... The OP will have a long night to sort it all out... :)

1.06? You mean 1.05?
