Thanks Eventure V1.30 fixed my issues, EliteOCR now detected and fully working in-game.

New Version (V1.30) released:
-Code improvements, Trade panel visual improvements, discontiuned protected version of TCE. The new standard version is the developer version. To unlock your protected database see notes in Download section.

To all, with detection issues, please install the new V1.30 version to correct the problem. But be aware, EliteOCR only support resolutions 1050p+ (see EliteOCR thread).

No, you dont have to up/download the database manually, TCE downloads the database, adds or modifies your saved entries, and uploads it back to the FTP.
The sharing function is the one, i couldnt beta test much as i wanted, in case of two users editing the same thing and hit the save button at the same time. Feedback is very welcome here.

There seems to be some problem with the log file, it keeps changing it every time i log in so elite says to restart the game.

You mean the netlog file? Elite Dangerous is saying to restart or TCE? Please specify.

AFAIK each login creates a new Netlog file on default.

go into your game install folder, mine is:

C:\Users\<<WindowsUserName>>\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1002
Open AppConfig.xml in notepad and check the following matches that in your file, if not manually correct your file.

I had the same issue and it was due to this including multiple verboseLogging settings.

Updated to the 1.30 and I've been asked to enter the password, have used masterhellfire and the TRADE COMPUTER yellow and Blue picture appears but it freezes with another password dialog request which is hidden behind the picture. No amount of Alt-TAB or Task Manager use brings it to the front, so I am stuck as I can't continue...

*Note: If you are using an old standard version of TCE, which database was password protected, please follow the link to unprotect TCE.mdb and Config.mdb (https://support.office.microsoft.com...rs=en-US&ad=US), section "Remove a password from a database". Password is "masterhellfire".

I tried that link, but you need to load the file to apply the decrypt and the password entry window is hidden behind the TCE picture... Grr

Have you tried opening the files directly rather than just opening TCE.xlsm?

...\TCE\DB\TCE.mdb

I was lucky, switched to the dev version before I started actually using it at least going forward it won't be an issue anymore with the protected version no longer being released.

Correct answer. You have to open the database with Access, to unprotect the database.

The "Start OCR Scan" button is in the commodity panel at the bottom.

Once you have added the station and so long as your current position (left of trade button) now shows you as being at that station then the commodity window (top right) should be useable. At the very bottom of the commodities window you should see the "start ocr scan" option.

That should be possible, like an option for the main panel orientation "Top" or "Bottom". I will see, what i can do.

I had a quick play with the panel myself, perhaps you can also consider removing the background 'black' area, IMO it looks much better although I messed the "Trade computer extension" text up a little (sry)

Perhaps, if poss, even a bit of semi-transparency for the other backgrounds on the main panel (buttons etc), not too much though

For a moment I thought this was from the upcoming 1.1 patch, I thought wow they have done a great job.

So wow, you have done a great job shame I don't have Excel but "Apache Openoffice" any chance you could do one for that software?

But grats just the same.

Download the non-installer Version of TCE and copy that Config.mdb to your folder of TCE\DB. You have to adjust the options again, but you will get an unprotected version on that way.

The black background is required to dehighlight the menu button atm, but that can be optimized. The next release will be like your main panel changing, but to make the buttons or others semitransparent, i dont know, if this is possible, because the userform is full transparent. Two different tranparencies in one userform? I dont think, that this is working, but i will check it out.
