I think I have also finally diagnosed the cause of my issue with TCE and EliteOCR.
My setup has been working brilliantly with 2 monitors.
As soon as I bring the third monitor into the equation, EliteOCR starts getting the issue with blank screenshots.
I can confirm that this was without running FireFox.
Is there anything else I can check or do ?

Found the issue with your Error 6 overflow. Just ignore the error, because its new inactive content, that causes the problem. Your impressive database is free of errors.

With the other issue you having, i am too unexperienced with multi-monitor setups, perhaps you will find help from other users.

OK - hopefully someone will come up with something. I am actually thinking of cutting back to 2 monitors when I move house in a month anyway :)

OK - for someone who has been using TCE for months, I have just realised I have never really used it to make a trade run - just been collecting trade data so far
Is there any way of making the Trade Panel take account of the fact that you can only use large landing pads ?
Also is there any way of limiting the "star to station" range in the Trade panel ?
I know both of these pieces of functionality are in the Trade Scout - just wondering if you can force them in Trade

Not yet you can't, maybe in the future.

Edit Registered Station

@ Eventure

When in a system with many registered station,
if I open Edit Registered Station,
should there not be a dropdown list of the already registered stations ?

Also, if i'm somewhere else in the galaxy and for some reason would like to edit one of SOL's station for some reason,
right now, If I choose SOL in the Edit Registered Station, system drop down list,
the panel still show me the name and details of the station I am currently at (not in SOL) !
It would be nicer if it switched to one of SOL's station,
and have a dropdown list of the already registered SOL stations too.

Hey Eventure

Just having some issues with the TCE, It seems whenever i try to update prices from a market using the OCR, It crashes on me giving these error messages - Ive set it up in the folder, Newest version, Made sure its unlocked from windows and updated the TCE to the 1.39f version

Just wondering if its an issue on my end or something else, Program looks really good and want to use it for my trading adventures

Please update your Office version to the lastest service pack and install the Access runtime for your version. You will find the link at the Prerequisits area of the main post.

Gents,

We would like to use an FTP server to save our database of commodities, but seems to me it's overwrite every time the old data.
Is there any way to merge the updates of several people, instead of overwrite???

Sry, at this point, there is no merge function to combine different databases to one. Also i found some issues with FTP databases, so i cant recommend it now, till it is fixed.

You all share the same database, so if one of you adding a station, the database will be downloaded, modified and uploaded again. When uploaded, the unmodified database will be overwritten with your updated.

There are problems by updating TCE with the new data. Wait for the update, that fixes the issue before starting to use an FTP server.

Today, with the start of the closed beta of the Personal Logbook, i want to show you the first area of the logbook: Personal Stats.

When opened the first time, you will see this panel for your commander stats. You can set your name, picture, current ship, money and your rankings in roles and faction.
The statistic page summarizes all values of your doings and the database. Its not complete yet, and the content may change a little.
The important part here is selecting your ship, you are flying. It defines, what stations the Auto-Destination will choose in case of landing pad sizes.

That's all for today, feel free to discuss or add a suggestion.

That logbook looks fantastic.
I only have a couple of things I'd personally like to see. You have Star Systems Visited and Stations unregistered, would it be possible to add stars systems completed and registered stations.
I'm not an explorer, at the moment, but I should think explorers would like to see how many systems have been completed. I want that because when I visit a new system I visit all the stations gathering the station information, when all stations have been visited I then class the system as completed.

Registered station are displayed as "Stations". Sure i can add partial and complete system status.
