Is it possible to search stations for specified ships? I've entered shipyard data for about 50 stations and I would like to know where I can find a specific ship.

atm not, as i know. but i second this request, would become very handy! repped.

Why the heck this is not build in to the game by devs and not put on sticky top page ?! OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!

This is .

Thanks for this epic tool. I'll get to installing it asap !

Just saw that Conflict Zones are displayed as such at the Travel Logbook, like it. But Resource Extraction Sites are not. Probably a Bug?

Yes, it is a bug, as i found some more there. I fixed them and now it is so, that the category name appear, if no special location note was made under Stored Locations (for Combat Zones, Points of Interests and Resource Extraction Sites) for the entry. If one was made, it appears instead of the category name.

eventure, yesterday i found something odd, referring to the destination + trade panel:
i was out mining, on my way back made a stop at an outpost, registered it and scanned the market.
after that i wanted to see if theres something to fill my cargo to max before heading 'home'.
so, i had platinum (amongst other metals/minerals) in my belly while scanning the market.
in the dest. panel it showed me unbelievable profits to make for heading home (>2k), so i opened the
trade panel. in the bottom left corner, as the best trade it showed palladium with 1,7k profits.
in the upper left, the station showed platinum under export as first entry.
so i ask myself: why is platinum listed as export commodity when stock is registered as zero?
to get rid of this, i opened the commodity for the outpost i was at, and set the prices for platinum both to zero.
after that, the dest. panel and the trade panel showed the expected results.

shouldn't commodities with zero stock be completely ignored by tce?

TCE shows only goods with a buy price under Exports. Did Platinium had a buy price? It should not, because it is not buyable as far as i know, only minable. Perhaps it has to do with your load, or a false OCR scan.

Not yet, but it will come.

it surely had to do with my load, but one shouldn't have to sell off complete cargo for scanning. can't we just ignore zero stock values?
what irritated me was the fact that the high profit was only displayed at the dest. panel, the trade advisor correctly advised palladium (surely because it had a stock value). so you have the logic in that place.

bug report 1.43b3

star system database -> reference stars :
i get the feeling that the automated reference star system is a bit off, unless the problem is in my db only.
th problem arise from the travel lb 3303 -> lu yupik-> sosolingati which gave me both a 75 ly jump.
example : system: lb 3303 -> was already known, but gives me the reference stars : sol, s171 30, gliese 398.2 and s171 48, which if i where to put in this distances would throw of the coordinates to -7290/8414/15296
switching out the s171 48 for sagittarius a* gives me the right coordinates, don't know if i can switch out others to for sagittarius.
the same reference stars as in lu yupik, in sosolingati i have automatically sagittarius a* instead of s171 48.
i keep a lookout for similar occurences, but mostly new star systems are fine to add with the given refernce stars.
if you need more info or other stuff tell me~

Added your request for the next update. All exports listed having a min. stock of 1.

Understood the issue. Here was the problem, that 2 from 4 ref. stars are too close together. Working on a fix atm.

Trade Station / RARES mismatch

Greetings Eventure.

I've just started to trade Rares.

I enter the Rare at the Trade Station panel and Save.
Later when I have reopened the Trade Station panel,
the Rare Commodity that shows is incorrect. I have
searched this forum for a reported same/similar issue
but didn't find anything solid.

Upon noticing this, I have thereafter made my entries
and corrections with my full attention. They still come
back as the wrong Rare.

What I have noticed is that the Rare that is returned
is 1, 2 or 3 items above the correct Rare
- eg, at GEORGE PANTAZIS/Zamka which should be
"Pantaa Prayer Sticks" shows up as "Onion Head".
Onion is the 2nd item above Sticks in the Rares List.

I cannot tell you the logic wrt why the difference is
1, 2 or 3 items. Some items I have corrected, some
not; Some I have re-saved multiple times, some not;
etc. Somewhere the pointer is not pointing correctly
and in some cases under certain circumstances seems
to be incrementing, but always in the same direction.

BTW, I do hope you get time to play ED.

TCE just gets better. Thank you.

Hi, had the same problem, missed a beta update with the fix for this.
Here you go
the beta versions are quite stable and can safely be used, for now

Thanks for the reply. Sheesh, I thought I was paying attention
I have updated. However, there still seems to be a problem.
Looks like I will have to start a new post to upload a screenshot.
I'm a bit Forum-challenged and still figuring out replies.

Alright, I seem to have managed a file attach.
In the logbook, ZAONCE/Ridley is highlighted and "Leathery Eggs" (yuck) is selected.
This is correct. However, on the Trade Station panel with ZAONCE/Ridley chosen,
the RARE displayed is "Koro Kung Pellets"; not so correct.

I've tried any number of ways of combining editing, saving, closing to get a connect
between the two panels without getting the results that I think should be.

Anyway, luv the program; generally works great! and getting better all the time.

EDIT: Rats ... forgot to mention that these are entries before the update. The problem
is that I can't seem to correct them ......

Startup errors

I'm getting Startsequence errors, error in Destination_Display, and error in Position_Display. All of them are "Error: (380) Could not set the Zoom property. Invalid property value.

I am using 1.43 beta 3, with the TDM V1.01 update.

Hello again,

i found a bug, that saving a rare commodity through stored locations done wrong. But saving through the Station Database panel is working.
So please change a rare commodity only with it at the moment. With the next update, you can change and save it through the Stored Locations panel as intended.

Did you installed the TCE V1.42 before you are using the V1.43b3 update? Please open into the DB folder of TCE and look after the Panel.mdb file. Is it there?
If not, please reinstall TCE.

Feature Suggestion

Just realised after adding 10 star systems in a row... unless there is a way to make it automated,
is it possible to let it work in a way that i still see the star system in the logbook instead of unknown system,
even though i'm not adding the coordinates?
i mean it tells my my current position just fine automatically and if i plan a big exploration trip i don't want to add all the systems~

TCE needs data to work with, with no data, it is unknown to TCE. The star system name comes from the log file of ED, but the logbook doesn't save names of star systems, only reference numbers to its database.
Thats why TCE displays it as unknown and i want to encourage users to gather all they can, like new star systems. Also TCE cant calculate jumped distances, because it did not know the coordinates.

But as i review the functions, i could make the following: I can write the star system name into the notes of the logbook entry for an unknown star system.

I used TCE_V1.42_installer.zip. Then unzipped TCE_V1.43beta3_update.zip and placed the file in the folder. Then did the same with TDM_V1.01_Update.zip. DB has Panel.mdb in it.

Please open the panel.mdb > PanelPosition table and look for the z-coord column. If there is any value under 10 or above 400, then change it to the default value of 100. In addition, please check also, if your Office version is up-to-date.

The min. pad size is selected though your selected ship type at the Personal Roster. Look into the Destination panel, you will see there is a new button above the scrollbar.
Click it to open the filter setting. Set a distance from star to filter all recorded stations, so the auto destination will only choose one of these.

Absolutely brilliant - I hadn't spotted all that - thank you so much, this release gets better and better

Yeah thought so, but it takes time if i fly through 100+ systems and every one is unknown~
But still, your suggestion is totally fine and i also know where to go if i want to add them later.
