small feature request

Hi Eventure, we sure keep you busy with your awsome addon...

Got a feature request, nothing fancy, just a time stamp on the commodity's panel of the last scan.
And a little note on the log, the credits earned is nice but it does not count in the costs of fuel, new equipment or a whole new ship.
Wouldn't it be better if you can put in your start cash when you begin a new day and the ending amount when you log off?
That way you have a better overviw of your profit (or loss that is). I also don't bother with putting in the data when I sell something except for the rares.

I change excel to trust macros from this folder. All the files have their properties changed to run as an administrator. When I run TCE setup, excel starts, a DOS box opens and then nothing happens, excel does not appear to accept data from TCE. Also I run Elite in a Window, there does not appear to be an option for a borderless window.

I am running win 10 64 bit and excel 2016. Hope this is'nt a "doh" moment.

Image too small! Minimum market width requires: 1065px, given: 1064px

I have my FOV all the way down and I'm running on 3200x1800. If you have any ideas how to gain that 1px that would be great. =D Thanks,

Keithmj89 I have the same settings as you and the same problem so after reading your post and realising I'm not the only one that has this problem
I watched with baited breath to see if anyone could solve our problem...
Then came Paithan's post to the rescue and just playing with for five mins solved the problem, Keithmj89 hope your problem was sorted by his post..

The borderless option is in ED Options, Graphics under FullScreen.

you have the timestamp at the top-right of the Position Display.
Yes, the cost side is not reflected in the logbook atm. If i should improve the credit balance overview, i have to create a new panel to include all branches of costs and income. Have to think about it.

really, i dont know, if Excel 2016 is working flawless with TCE.
Your problem sounds like Excel wont execute the macros of TCE, so please try to change your macro setting in the options of Excel.
Select 'Allow digital signed macros' or 'Allow all macros' for a test. But there could be other security settings that comming with the new Excel version. Please report back, what solves your problem.

I forgot to mention I have Norton 360, however, I disabled it for the installation and initial run, unless the bl***y security suite is up to no good which thru long experience with Norton product I could believe. The installer works - the TCE folder is created. Indeed when the TCE setup program starts it "calls" excel and it is at this point that the program hangs. Running the TCE program brings up a DOS box with the line "Loading Trade Computer Extension... Please Wait" and an empty Excel page.

Any other advice gratefully recieved.

Can you start TDM? Because if you got the TCE.ini error, macros are processed. I post my TCE.ini here, so you can create a new text file, name it TCE.ini and paste the content into. Adjust the path for NetLog, AppConfig and EliteOCr and start TCE again.

If you are using the english version of Excel, please change WAHR to TRUE and FALSCH to FALSE. That is important.

Normally your FOV slider resides in the middle. The FAQ says in your case (from seeebek, creator of EliteOCR):

"...Image too small...", "Increasing FOV in game reduces the size of the significant part of the screenshot! Therefore you will easily get below the limitation. Use standard FOV (approx. 56)!"

I had problems with Norton and TCE after the usual Hassle of uninstalling it I am quite happy with Kaspersky. - good deal for 2 years multi, use at moment

RESET = Resets all entered values to zero, but not for activities. Activities are calculated based on the session and they can only be reseted, if you delete the entries from the Activities section or pressing UPDATE below.
+ = Adds the entered value to the row.
- = Substract the entered value from the row.
0 = Resets the value of the row to zero.
UPDATE = Saves the END CREDITS value to your database. All assets got reset to zero, including activities. START CREDITS are updated.

When quiting TCE, the update will be automatically done.

How do you feel about it?

I put it back to the middle, then it says I have only 1020px. I've gotten EliteOCR to work outside of TCE, is there a spot where I can import results?

I am using 1920 x 1200 resolution and my FOV slider is at 90%. All is fine here. Please change your resolution in ED for a test.
BTW, i am using still EliteOCR V0.5.4.1. Works really well for me. No training needed.

I ended up getting it all working by going to my screen resolution settings on my desktop and changing the magnification settings. Now everything works like a dream.
