Hmm... it is not display here! Any other having the issue, that a toolbox is displaying while loading and usage of TCE?

Had another small issue not related to 1.54.

I had added a station successfully a couple of days ago - Balog Dock at Shapsugabus and it showed in the Destination Panel without problems. But in the Current Station it only showed as Shapsugabus : Sector 78. I thought nothing of it at the time but yesterday when I returned, it was again showing only Shapsugabus: Sector 76 in the Current Station and this was duplicated in the Logbook. TDM had not shown any problems when I upgraded to 1.54 yesterday. I tried unsuccessfully to Modify Entry in the Logbook but was not allowed to. Again, the station information was showing correctly in the Destination Panel.

Concluding there must be some sort of error with my original Station entry, today I ran TDM again, deleting Balog Dock. Added the Station back today when I visited it again and it added normally displaying correctly in the Current Station panel. Coming back to it later and it was again showing correctly in the Current Station Panel.

Was this the correct thing to do ie. delete the Station thru TDM and add it back?

Sometimes, it will happen, that the stations sector ID differs from the stored one, especially if FD changes the Body ID behind the scenes. If so, go to the Station Database panel and select the station of your database. Then change the Sector ID to the one displayed and save it. Thereafter TCE finds the station again.

I used v1.54.1 earlier this evening and the toolbox did show up when TCE started. I closed it and it never appeared again during that session of play.

Okay, the toolbox issue happens by saving the project and the toolbox stays outside of the VBA editor. I saved the project again, toolbox within the editor and for me here, it is gone now. I release it later today.

Hi Eventure

I found another Rare Commodity not in your list:

Sothis Crystalline Gold at Sothis - Newholm Station. The Star system is not in your database.


Now a problem.

I added Sothis Star System and Newholm Station and did a Commodity scan. No problems. I flew to Sothis Mining Station in the same Star System. Tried to Add this new Station and received the following error - "Invalid Use of Null". TCE was still running, so tried again and received the Error in Saving Station message.

Exited Excel Not saving TCE. Restarted TCE and successfully added Sothis Mining without a problem. Went to do a Commodity Scan and received a Subscript Out of Range error at the following location.

Exited Excel, again NOT saving TCE. Restarted TCE and immediately went to try the Commodity Scan again. It failed Subscript Out of Range again.

Btw, ""Toolbox"" is still appearing every time I start TCE and then disappears once TCE startup is complete.

TDM completed OK after clicking "Yes". Restarted TCE, added Sothis Mining successfully and then scanned successfully! So I appear to have corrected the problem but any ideas what it may have been?

Run-Time error with TCE

I'm getting this error before I really start anything. I have used TCE before with not too many issues. It was working fine then i tried to use it today but the .ini was somehow missing. So i downloaded new version and try testing it before sending in old database but its a no go any help would be greatly appreciated. So just a reminder this is a fresh install no added info.

Found the problem. You wanted to add an unregistered station but didn't selected the name from the dropdown list. The SAVE button wrongly appeared (which is now fixed) and with a click on it you got the error. All other behaviour resulting from the error before. TDM corrects your database and on your second try, it worked, because you selected the name for the station. Thanks for your detailed report, was a big help!

you report is not clear to me and please highlight the code line, where the error happens.
When you getting this error?
Please press DEBUG and post only the code block, where the error happens and highlight the error code line (see RobH's report above, what i need to know).

Update (1.54.2) released:



Changelog:
- Finally removed the sometimes visible toolbox (hope so).
- Fixed an error at the Star System Summary panel, producing error on start.
- Fixed an issue at the Station Database panel, showing the SAVE button, when no unregistered station was selected.
- Small optimizations to the Classic Main panel, button background color is now black, not greyish.

Note:
This update didn't need any TDM usage for your database. Copy the content into your TCE folder to update your version.

Unfortunately, no change with the Toolbox :( . It still appears top right of my screen (Excel 2010) while starting TCE and then gets hidden when TCE startup is complete. And yes, it does say v1.54.2 on TCE startup.


Also, did you see the new Rare Commodity I mentioned above?

Damn, it is not appearing here! Will dig deeper.

The new Rare will be added with the next full release. But if you want it now, add it yourself into the Logbook.mdb > Rares Table. Add an entry at the bottom with ID 1122 and NAME Sothis Crystalline Gold.

That update fixed my issue with the Run-Time error thanks a lot, I love this program it's great and not intrusive the game melds well as well make it feel part of the game as well. Love every bit of it keep up the good work.

Hi Eventure

No worries, no rush. I'll wait for the next full release.

Also, don't worry about the "Toolbox" window. It disappears once TCE startup has completed (although I think it is still there in the background behind ED), so it doesn't interfere with the running of TCE. I am assuming the Toolbox is from Excel 2010 and not from Access? There is no title to it to know from which product it comes. It first appeared in the initial full version 1.54, and never appeared prior to that version, if that helps you in any way track it down. Strange it does not appear for you. I don't use Excel on my games PC for anything else other than TCE, just had a spare license for Excel from a 3-licence version pack, so it is all default settings and it is the run-time only version of Access.

Hi

Could anybody tell me how long it takes to scan the prices in the extension. I have clicked on commodoties and started a clear scan and it has been 'processing please wait' for a good 10 minutes. I have taught OCR with the wizrard and it is located in the in the tce\eliteocr file. I have attached a picture to show
