I can't remember, but it's happened a few more times since with new UNREGISTERED stations, I click save, it appears to save but isn't recognised, i restart TCE and it's now registered.

Hi and welcome,
please deactivate the the standard panel display mode at the options panel. If you can't reach it, adjust PANEL_MODE= entry at the TCE.ini file and set it to false. It should fix your problem. The next version of TCE will need some time, so if it fixes your problem, your can play around with this version to get familiar with it.
Wait, you are now speaking of registering an unregistered station and after saving, it is not displayed at the Position Display? Though you having a problem when reaching a registered station, which is not recognized. What now?

Basically NEW or UNREGISTERED STATIONS sometimes don't show in CURRENT DESTINATION until I restart TCE. It happens fairly randomly. Sometimes 2 in a row, then everythings fine for 7 to 10'ish adds of stations. Not a big problem, I'm trying to find out if it can be recreated, so far I've failed, it just happens sometimes.

Would be cool if it supported Libreoffice or Open Office instead of Microshaft. I don't have any of their products installed unfortunately or I'd use this totally.
This is the sort of thing I envisioned the actual game being like. But with graphs too showing over time the prices at each station.

Allow copying System names to THE clipboard when selected in CARTOGRAPHY, so that when I GO to the galaxy map I can just paste it in the search bar.
EXAMPLE:
I'm in a new system and I have lots of SYSTEMS to update for STAR CLASS. LOTS. I have a 25 LY jump range.
So i'd like to be able to click the system requiring an update and for it to be put in the clipboard so I can just paste it in the GALAXY MAP.
EASY AS THAT
Allow copying System names to THE clipboard when selected in CARTOGRAPHY, so that when I GO to the galaxy map I can just paste it in the search bar.

One word: LORE
It's a fantastic tool, the best there is for using your own data and the interface is so immersive, which is what does it for mr. Plus I can let my completionist need loose, I can record so much.
Hello Eventure, one question. When i try to create a new commander in the log, it was mentioned in the manual that i have to store him. I fill out all my data, but in the end i cannot find any store button. The result is that my activities stays always at 0 and money did not change. Travel Logbook, Stored locations, Cartography works.
You sir, are a freaking genius!!! Worked like a champ AND I just made my very first, profitable Trade!! My "check is in the mail" doode!! Keep up the fantastic work and yell if you need any testing on a triple head system.

Thanks bAdbUd. Nothing in particular, was just curious to see it in action and how easy it would be to use. The screenshots look fantastic and if its as good as it looks i will try it. Will save me having to use external websites all the time.
.Net version is in the pipe, stay tuned. Graphs for the commodities are not planned, too much data to store, but an indicator is currently in.

It should be renamed to "ED-Experience-Completion"!!!!
For me there was only one (common) problem with getting EliteOCR to work...
The push-STARTOCRSCAN-nothing-happens-problem.
So i read down the whole thread, all the way down to post number #486 by Jupp.
That finaly did it!
But the standart FOV setting (mine was 56.000000), as written in in the FAQ just did not work.
The setting of FOV 60,000000 is the one working for me.
Maybe it depends a little bit on the different screen resolutions out there?
When i started the journey getting TCE/OCR to work, i really thought it is something more serious, that i was missing, because this project seems to be incredibly complex to me....
Note to self: The one who is able to read has a huge advantage!!!

Yes, there is no need anymore of having MS Office installed.
They are aware, but no comments on apps in general. But perhaps they will, if the .net version is released and getting more players using it.
Sad face..... I was using TCE this morning just fine. Logged off the rig for lunch. Came back, and now when I launch it I get the following. It just sits there. Nothing has changed, and I have tried to reboot the box.

There is an error message box in the back of start screen. Can you alt-tab since you can read the error? Press enter to enter debug mode or to continue loading, depends on the error message.
ALT Tabbing does not bring up the error box.
